Today Show: A TODAY employee thought his Starbucks cups needed a makeover.Comments:
morgan olberding - I work at Starbucks and Steve Aoki is the best I can do
mariah - She's not a mermaid she's a siren.
michele bennett - Uh oh...does Gene Simmons know this...lol
susan gilbert - I never really liked the mermaid. They should hire the Today employee to spruce up their cups. I like these flashy makeovers. I feel they have more and different flashy makeovers they could do to spruce the cups up.
bonnie santora - Starbucks is going to snag you away to do their design for their cups!!They look great!!Good job just for killing some time!!!😄😄
lisa ann cerrato - She is NOT a mermaid: she is a siren. Mermaid have a thick, single tail. The siren has a split tail and can walk on legs when luring sailors.
connie shattuck - Cassidy Shattuck
john sargent - I like the Gene Simmons version on the right!
shirley crowder - Copy / Paste Referral Link
micalene morris faller - Cori Wright 😉

dolores costello demaio - Starbucks should should buy his designs, I think it would be an interesting improvement .
christian shoemaker - He clearly doesn't have enough work to do.
kim henneke-singer - The Starbucks cup is a siren, not mermaid.
melissa sibley hall - Can the Today employee Starbucks to return salt to their Columbus Ohio stores so that former Starbucks customers in the Columbus market can enjoy a salted caramel mocha? Starbucks corporate has eliminated salt in its Columbus market and despite customer requests, will not bring it back.
marcia bitting - Put down the ducky... leave the darn thing alone! :)
thai vu park - Lori Engle-Nellis

Today Show: BREAKING NEWS: Experts hope the survivor’s antibodies will kick-start Mukpo's immune system.Comments:
megan webster - What an amazing human being! Remember, he got Ebola helping others, denied treatment initially for another, now giving blood to help another. We could all learn from him in both science and faith! Please keep the good doctor in the news!!
janeen pointer - Has anyone donated blood to the first guy in the US diagnosed with Ebola? Just wondering.
rebecca etheridge - Chasity Haskins your comments could be considered mindless. Some people believe in the methods of science and prayer. Praying does not mean you only pray for victim, nor does it mean it is false hope. Prayers can be for the Science of medicine of work, for the quick thinking minds and talents of Scientists and Doctors, for the antibodies to help heal the victim, and the recovery of the victim. Not sure how praying makes people mindless. I know people of Science and Doctors that pray.
patty haggerty bender - What a guy paying it forward proud if him
rochelle evans - Once a person has ebola and recocers, like Dr. Brantley, he now has the ebola antibodies that can help with the recovery of others. A young boy who Dr. Brantley saved (in Africa) donated his blood to Dr. Brantley. You can't just give the guy in Texas anyone's blood if they haven't had ebola.
anthony xavier - Sooooo is he just picking people he thinks are worthy of his blood I mean he's not a God or anything. Why is it that they didn't offer it to the guy in Texas? Just wondering. Whether he brought it here and lied about his travel history is irrelevant. At the end of the day it is still a human being. Something isn't right here. You are either going to help someone all the way or not. You don't half ass it.
chasity haskins - Calm down baby sheep.... If you can say what you want and praise God I can say what I want and praise the Drs.... Where the praise is actually due.
angelia elizabeth - You must be a match to receive the plasma from a donor....Its obvious the others were not a match.
nicole wolske - Ebola is airborn they are now starting to find that out. The women in Spain says she took all precautions but still got Ebola.
CDC is trying to cover up the fact that's is airborn because they don't wanna scare us
rebecca etheridge - Anthony Xavier, more than likely is has to do with his blood type. It has to match to be a donor. Not everyone's blood has antibodies to Ebola.
shannon hudson offe - Praying for ALL victims of this deadly disease. This Dr. Brantly is truly a remarkable human being. Saw an interview with him and the passion he had/has for the people in Liberia suffering from this disease, just an amazing person! We could all learn something from him about compassion!
julie fields - I thought he just prayed and God healed him? Doesn't work for everyone? What a nice God you have then....
elizabeth power - Brantly is clearly a very giving man. I'm so proud of our medical staff here in Omaha for providing exceptional care for the Americans who have contracted Ebola. Everyone involved will continue to be in my prayers.
chasity haskins - Yeah forget science people... Pray to God that this will save his life... Just totally disregard medicine and all the Drs and scientists working on this issue.... FML wake the hell up and stop being mindless sheep.
tasha núñez - Reminds me of I Am Legend.....
rochelle evans - Heidi Carrington Thomas the man in Texas (possibly) lied and flew in several commercial planes putting hundreds of people or more at possible risk. The camera man was flown back on a private jet and kept in isolation during his travels. That is why there is such judgement. Big difference.
stephanie eric deatherage - I absolutely love how God is using Dr. Brantly in ways the he could have never thought possible.
jackie green keel - He is truly and amazing man. Brings me faith in humanity again...
casey jordan rogers - Praying that God will continue to heal and restore, and that he will show the scientists a cure for this
jessica june 'hurst' mcelroy - Brantly is a pretty awesome man, his faith has a lot to do with that.
don dishman - There are some outstanding people in this country and this man is one of them! God bless him.

What do you think of it? (Type: link | Published: 2014-10-08T11:41:21+0000)
Today Show: For the anniversary, People has re-created its very first cover! What do you think of it?Comments:
sherrie jager - I prefer that Mia wasn't looking at the camera
michele walts carr - I believe that Emma Stone would have been a much better choice. I also agree that People missed the mark by having her look at the camera instead of the pensive aloof look of Mia.
darcy mac tellone - Haters gonna hate hate hate, shake it off Taylor. You are AMAZING!
jillian carothers - I like it! Everyone is so critical. This girl is doing her thing and she is doing it with more grace and respect for herself than so many others her age in a similar situation. Yeah she is a little goody goody but I prefer that over justin biebers diaper pants!
nikki stewart - Uhm, nope. maybe its the fact that Taylor churns my stomach. Cant stand her.
janna lee bundy - The new one looks like she's trying to hard to be "sexy."
rebecca nolan-bigwood - Ughhhhhhhh it would have been great if it wasn't Taylor Swift
mandi clisso bagley - Why taylor Swift?! Scarlett Johansson would've been a better choice. I'm tired of TS
kristyn frazier - More photoshop than the first. 😖
eva levine-mullaney - I can't stand when people use the word "hate". You "hate" Taylor Swift. It takes a lot of energy to hate someone. She's a sweet kid who made a few missteps in the romance department like any other girl her age. She has never been photographed drunk and drugged out. She's talented and I think the cover looks great.
billie-jean lee - Would rather have seen a classy picture of Mia today.
jessica coleman - "Oh no a celebrity I don't like! I must share my outrage!"
Seriously don't you people have something meaningful to be outraged about? Go volunteer at a shelter or something. Stop making up problems and get mad about some REAL ones.
laura mcdaniel - Whew! I'm so glad I'm not a celebrity. People are super mean!! Ha.
nichole scharnett - I don't want to seem like a hater, but the girl has no talent and this cover is just a huge miss. What's the story? Another whining column about how she has relationship issues and people hate on her? Where are the Real musicians at??
karie nora - There that is a "little" better.
edwina wise mcnerney - Mia did it better. She wasn't trying to look sexy. Taylor tries too hard.
meribah diodati - Would be better if Mia re-enacted it
kelly jo vars soloway - Taylor looks like a little girl trying to play sexy, it's gross and kinda scary!
stephanie mchone east - That's really too bad........apologies to Mia.
christi hobbs - Emma Stone, Emma Watson or Michelle Williams all have grace and style and would have looked amazing on this cover. Or Mia herself... Js
rebecca steer gonzalez - I like it. She's a beautiful girl.

catherine carol zurich-wus - We have a Happy Life as volunteer rescue rehabers of wildlife at our own expense which can be costly at times. We call this photo "Every Living Thing Deserves A Helping Hand!!!" Husband Michael found this "infant" still with a bit of umbilical cord----while walking our dog on our property. early one morning It had split its chin falling from a huge hickory tree when Mom moved her new family!! We raised it for release through an Anna Maria Island Center--it grew to be a miniature blonde racoon!!!! We say it is "The HEARTest thing to do" raise up and then------------- let go--unlike children and people, you can not reassure and have them really know how much you love and care and wish them well and just have to hope they survive once they leave you, as they turn and look back at you and then they are gone. SOOooo many people call it a thankless work but we disagree we are Thankful for every creature we can return to the wild! Such a joyful HAPPY PRIVILEGE to have ability and experience to help the animals!!! Best to leave them alone when possible but when help is a must you must do what you can!!

Today Show: You don't need to spend hours in the gym to get fit — if you can find 10 minutes, you can do it!Comments:
nanette hoey - The today show should show a small screen in the corner of the program throughout the entire program of a work out. So you can work out while you watch the show!
leydiana mason - Free country or not, service men dont put their lives on the line just so a bunch of people with self esteem issues can be rude. You cant handle her workout? Thats YOUR problem. But saying horrible things about her neck, her being pregnant, her sex life... really, people? Thats what being an American with "rights" means to you? That is how you excercise your rights? By sitting behind a keyboard- being full of judgement & hate towards people you don't even know? Pretty sure that is NOT why we have service men sacrificing their lives. Surely not for hateful people to spew out such horrible words. Maybe YOU go be passionate about something OTHER than tearing down others. Get a new hobby. Your children & neighbors are watching how you live. Good post Today Show!
carolyn weatherspoon - Jenna is an inspiration, she's pregnant and she's working out better than me. I really enjoy these segments, they're so motivational. The only thing I dislike are the people who find it necessary to comment on her personal life and her family; God don't like ugly folks, get right in your heart, mind and speech or just shut up. Meanwhile Jenna is going to help me get fit.
sue zakriski vielkind - I love this segment on the today show. Jenna is great and very informative!
darrin demshar - I can not stand this lady.
monique white brabham - Why are people so hateful? I do not understand. Jenna...thank you for the work out tips!!
mark hodgson - Please stop this BS Jenna Wolfe stuff!
lenae andrus - Wish Jenna would retire!
tina hahn anderson - Great workout, because you can do it at your own pace! If you're not top fit start with lower reps and work your way up. Do one, then do another one, add to it as you get better! Fantastic Jenna! To those of you that are negative, attitude is a start....you don't have to like Jenna, but start by liking yourself!
leydiana mason - Barb Blumenshine hey girl hey! Lol Seriously it just is so petty. What if those were the last words these people ever got a chance to say? They rush their kids off to school while typing a full on hate speech and God forbid, die on the way there? I mean it happens. Why live your life like that? Im sure I will get plenty of negative responses but MY life has too much value to respond to those people. And so does yours! Cheers! And happy HUMPDAY :-)
deanna roman - Holy cow, the comments from people are so harsh! If you don't care for Jenna, why bother commenting? :-\
regina harrison - Jenna, thanks for the cool workout! Pregnancy seems to agree with you!
brandon vanden bosch - Make her go away.
deborah bentley lindsey - I change the channel during this segment daily, not because of the content, but because her personality isn't a good match with all of the rest of the cast. It's more like those of the Today Show Saturday morning group.
margarita bowles - All these are great tips!!!
donna steger - She drives me nuts
cindy greathouse - Love Jenna! I might give these a try but so far I've lost 11 lbs. since July 31 just walking on my treadmill most every day. I'm walking 3.5 miles in 60 minutes most every morning. Isn't that enough without additional exercises?!
chris thompson - Would like to see exercises for senior adults!
jennifer reimel kleeman - If this exercise gives me Jenna's thick manlike neck I will pass . I'm afraid one of the cords in her neck is going to pop on air
courtney sams - Totally doable :) may suck at first, but I'll live the burn! If it's really not something you can do, look up modifications and set goals :) thankful there's no burpees on here :)
tracey lewia weakley - I like her news pieces but she's condescending in her exercise and diet segments. Seems this comes way easy for her and she can't imagine why it isn't that way for everyone.

Today Show: Are diamonds really a girl's best friend?Comments:
nancy pepper - I think if you are spend modestly it means you know the marriage is more important than outward appearances.
pearl kilgore - $20,000 for a wedding?! How about using that for a down payment on a house instead?
deborah land faulkner - It shouldnt matter the size/cost of the ring... it is the value/morals/content of the relationship that matters.. A ring doesnt make love any stronger and it doesnt make the relationship better.... People should value their feelings/relationship more than on the size/cost of the ring.. its more of a status than a symbol of a true relationship of Love.......I would rather have true love than a large diamond on my hand.... (although after 20 yrs of marriage, I have them both now... )
doris a jerez - if the cost of an engagement ring says anything about your marriage you already have trouble.
brenda heller perzee - My hubby spent $250 on my wedding ring set...that was 32 years ago....I cherish it more today than ever before! <3
darlene smiley hewitt - mine is a Diamonique, from QVC. I picked it out because I liked it, and didn't want anything expensive, because I work at a grocery store. I get compliments on it all the time, and very rarely disclose the truth ;) We have been happily married for 15 years now
renee j. batts - We spent $300 for the engagement and both wedding bands. Because that's all we could afford at that time. We are still happily married 35 yrs. with nicer rings. LOL!
michele calder - My fiance did not give me a traditional engagement ring when he asked me to marry him, what he gave me was much more priceless than that. He gave me a necklace with a pendant and a ring that his mother gave him just before she passed away, I treasure this token way more than any diamond ring and has more meaning for both of us <3
jenny elaine hart - My ring says nothing about my marriage. My husband and I are not flashy people. We just have simple rings.
katie hunsucker - I think this was bunch of men who just didn't want to spend a lot on a ring. This is ridiculous!!! Cheap bastards!! However if you don't have it don't spend it but if you do don't spend it on a new boat spend it on your girl not yourself! I will say this mine is a yellow sapphire in the middle and diamonds on the sides. Cheaper to begin with and going to replace it down the line when we can afford it. It wasn't cheap cheap but it's gorgeous! I get compliments all the time!! He could have gotten a new guitar instead he got my ring :)
tina banuet - Mine was $14.00 and his was $20.00; simple silver bands. We have been together 16 years and madly in love. Diamonds are not my best friend; my husband is and always will be.
lanae paaverud - Our son not only designed his fiance's ring, he literally made it - created mold, melt/poured gold, polished, etc :-)
rachael gogis - Because I took a geology and a gemology class in college and I worked in a jewelry store before I graduated, my fiancé and I went to pawn shops and I got a ring for $1,000. We had it independently appraised and it was a 1 carat round brilliant cut solitaire diamond SI1 G and appraised for $7,800.
lisa a. eichler - Why was this article even written or relevant? Buy what you can afford. My grandmother had a huge diamond ring and was married to my grandfather over 60 years. My parents have been married over 40 years and my Mom wears a gold band only. Both long happy marriages and completely different rings. I should also mention my grandparents had a small wedding and my parents a big one. This article is ridiculous.
william golden - I spent $85.00 for my wife's ring I bought from a Pawn shop, We were together for 35 years until I lost her to cancer In 2010
emma louise morris - We should be married for ever. Our wedding cost $50. The public garden was free. Best day ever!!!
julie bourgeois oakes - My parents have been married 46 years and my mother didn't get a diamond until their 40th anniversary. My dad proposed with a cedar hope chest. Diamonds have nothing to do with love.
kristen cox leen - I am in the wedding industry and have worked over 300 weddings - more money, more problems is often true and no money is a problem as well! Be moderate people!
rachael white - No, BACON is a girl's best friend ;)
justin pointon - It would be really nice if we'd stop indoctrinating & conditioning girls to become brides. Instead, they should be more excited about graduating college. Or aiming to be leaders in society. Being 'bride for a day' or 'someone's wife' is nice. But I want more female leaders in my world too.
amy curts - Too many people put more importance on the ring and the ceremony than they do the actual marriage.

sandy mccollum - This was a beautiful story on this morning's show....<3
dawn palazzo - Love glenn cambell, love comes softly in his music.
betsy patterson poff - I care for Alzheimer's patients. Let him play that guitar and sing as much as he wants. That's what he remembers and will make him happy. My heart goes out to his family.
susan kenefick - Thank you Glen Campbell and family for this beautiful documentary. My father died last year of Alzheimer's. It is a horrific disease. My love and prayers to all of you.
kyle kiefer - Music is one of the last memories in people with demntia. Its amazing to witness people who are unable to say the spoken word to be able to sing without mistakes.
belinda wilkinson bradford - I love this man. His songs were a big part of my youth. May God bless him.
althea encinias - When i was 5 i use to get my stick horse and run around the ranch sing "like a Rhinestone cowboy"....thank u glen for your music and love....we all love you god bless
danielle ehlert - Beautiful story...really hit home! We need to find a cure for this awful disease.
gerry dobson - Guess I'm the only guy to comment lol but I grew up listening to his music even watched his TV show he was part of my childhood but music seems to always be a main stay in their minds no matter how slowly their memory fades
lorraine ludwico stevens - He is in my thoughts and prayers as is his family .
Loved him !
barbara dulin townsend - Alzheimer's took it's toll on both of my Grandparents, I don't want my husband to have to go through the same thing as I did watching me slowly fade away. Losing a loved one to this disease is heart wrenching,I cried watching this story.
jennifer ballou falk - This is because it not in his memory..it is in his heart. God bless him
betty nipges - Alzheimer's is a thief touching so many families. And it doesn't care who you are or how much your loved.
pamela deve warren - You may not miss us Glen, but we are truly going to miss You!
renee kreiser reisinger - As a caregiver in a dementia unit, this touches my heart. I see everyday what the residents can do each new day they get up. It's an amazing job and I am so glad I am able to be a part of their lives and give them a purpose in life. Glenn ' s story is amazing and I wish him and his family well. It's a terrible disease and as long as they have a great support system it makes their lives easier.
donna dougherty shaw - Music seems to be one of the last things to go in cases of dementia. When my grandmother was in her last days, my mother had a piano wheeled into the hall outside of her room and and even though my grandmother had lost most of her speech ability, she could still sing the alto to "Jesus loves Me."
barbara sliwa - That is so hard to take I grew up with his music so that is a lot of good memories for him his memories is his music wished they could find a cure for this horrible sickness .I do wish him lots more years with his family and friends I know wishful thinking GB him and his family you will be in my prayers and his music will be forever in my heart ..<3
margaret ann dannevik luebbe - So glad he hasn't lost his musical gift.
linda glasscock - It's so hard to take in. I was so in love. With Glen Campbell when I was younger.
elizabeth z venables - Always loved Glen Campbell
jennifer bond - It always amazes me that music sticks with them....they can't tell you what day it is, but many times they can sit down at the piano and play hymnals....Glenn Campbell and his family are so brave for shedding some light on this horrible disease.

Today Show: “I was scared for my family. I was scared for my little sister because she was in the back with me,” 14-year-old Joseph Ivy told TODAY.Comments:
siddy ballard - I'm black, I follow the law, I don't get attacked. Hmmm...strange, dirty criminals always scream injustice.
carolyn weatherspoon - It must be nice to be able to be cynical of the motives of a minority who believes it's in their best interest to record the actions of the police. Cop wife here and I can tell you for sure that if that officer would have followed protocol, everyone would be better off. Unfortunately the officer didn't and I'm proud of that young man for asserting his rights and protecting the people from a "hot head cop".
marybeth berger baugh - Why is it that nobody is ever responsible for their own actions anymore? It's always someone else's fault! How about you do what your asked, take your ticket (cause your in the wrong) an go on with your life. This was easily avoidable
elizabeth fast - A simple traffic stop and they start recording. Takes 13 minutes to get this point of tazing the man? Sorry but they brought this all on themselves.
(Let the hating responses begin... )
robert billock - Total BS. He filmed it cuz his mommy told him to. They knew exactly what they were doing. Get out of the car when you're told. TOTAL race card and looking to get law suit money. If it was black cops, he would have gotten out. He would have done as instructed. There would be NO discussion. Wake up ppl!! Talk about playing the race card!!!!
helene dakin - How hard is it to do as you are asked? "Sir, do you have an ID on you?" "No" ... "Sir, please step out of the car." Honestly, what makes people feel like they are above the law? And of course the whole time the female driver is mouthing off...big surprise. A simple seat belt violation turns into a lawsuit. Typical.
tammy knight koenig - I do not know police proceedure but the father was not doing as the officer asked. Why? if he has nothing to hide then cooperate. it looks to me like he put his kids in danger. The officer could have hurt the kids in back breaking the window but the man should have did as asked. What was the officer supposed to do? Say ok be on your way since you will not cooperate.I dont know. Im glad everyone is ok.
isla waters - The question that is NOT being asked: Why was a passenger asked to provide ID and to step out of the car? Because he is black? They were pulled over b/c the driver wasn't wearing a seat belt. All the officers had to do was treat the driver and her family like human beings, assess the situation accordingly, issue a ticket if necessary and move on. The police officers perceived AND created a threat where there was none, harassed this family WITH CHILDREN IN THE CAR, and the police escalated to violence for absolutely no reason. There is no excuse. None. The police are NOT above the law and they DO NOT have the right to violate your civil rights. Period. Make no mistake, the Hammond Police Officers involved should be fired, immediately. Thank God for the brave young man who videotaped this horrific event. He saved his family.
I am appalled by those who believe that the victims escalated this act of violence. But I also feel sorry for them – these are the people who believe this could never happen to them. The harsh reality is that THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU. I know because it happened to me. I am a single, white, educated female from a middle class family and I am a Survivor of police brutality and excessive force. And I am not to blame nor was it my fault.
Change can only come from within – when good cops turn on the bad ones, when law enforcement is provided with appropriate training and continuing education is required, along with community service. I’m not talking about the gun range and lectures – they need to be educated about current laws, communication skills, and to understand how their own actions can escalate to unnecessary violence. Teachers, Lawyers, Therapists, Experts in these fields could assist in law enforcement training. It’s time to weed out the bad cops – so that we can all feel safe and protected instead of hurt and enraged.
VOTE FOR EVERY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL TO BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A BODY CAMERA WITH AUDIO.
lori lynn stogsdill - As much as I hate this video we all must undetstand that No One is above the law! Yes sir, no sir.. .. respect of authority! What kind of country would we live in if everyone disregarded police? Not a good one!
d lawrence barksdale - If the police did not have probable cause to believe that the boyfriend had committed a crime, he was well within his rights NOT to produce ID or step out of the car. This is going to end badly for the police department.
kn bacchanal harvey - The last time a black man obeyed the cops he was shot. .... reaching for his drivers license as told to do. And since when do you have to exit the vehicle for a seat belt VIOLATION??
dawn blevins wilson - 13 minutes had gone by while he sat there refusing to get out of the car. What do you think the police should have done - said "oh well...guess he's not going to cooperate; let's let him go on his merry way." Seriously? They had no idea if the kids in the back were safe. All he had to do was cooperate. Stop resisting and acting guilty of something if you're an honest law-abiding citizen.
cathy robinson pickett - I'm sorry but when an officer says get out of the car you get out.
jamie foshey - Shouldn't this kid be in school on a Wednesday morning??????
angel a. rosado - If you have nothing to hide comply, race card has gotten too old and misused, don't comply, record end result, sue so you don't have to work for a living
dawn m greeves - I am a minority, and I have been asked to step out of my vehicle, (I was speeding on an AZ highway) and I Respectfully got out, yes sir, yes sir three bags ful, and walked away with a warning. Very simple, get out of the damn car when asked!!!!!! If I was the mother of those children, I would THROWN the boyfriend out of the car! Here Mr. Popo take his damn a$$!! Haha
kelly rotenberry - I don't blame them one bit for not getting out of the car! The police nowadays are shooting, hitting, tasering, ppl for no reason! The cop pulled a gun, I wouldn't get out the car either! Maybe the passenger kept reaching towards the rear seats because there was two CHILDREN in the car and he was trying to comfort them or make sure they were ok! The police are supposed to protect us and most of them don't, though I do greatly appreciate the cops that do their JOB correctly! The people defending the cops really need to wake up and think what if it was them?
melodi gregg - What happened to obedience. Why couldn't he do what he was asked. What happened to respect for the police department? Do what you are told and work it out later. They brought this on themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
star selil - I love how some black people think white people never have issues with the police. ANYONE who doesn't comply has issues with the police. I was stopped for going 5 MPH over the speed limit and they wanted to see my ID and the ID of my passenger. We didn't have an issue with the police because we have respect for authority and do what we're asked! My passenger wasn't even white so the "white privilege" excuse is utter BS.
sherry lynn minott - Ridiculous...so sick of hearing" the police were out of line", when the guy was simply asked to get out of the car and refused!!!! PEOPLE teach your children to respect authority....not rebel against it. Maybe then we will not hear any more about this kind of stuff!!!
barry moss - Once again, do what the police tell you to do.
