- It is legal to carry a firearm inside starbucks, target, jack in the box, chipotle, and every o (Type: status | Published: 2014-10-26T22:09:28+0000)
Gun Rights: It is legal to carry a firearm inside starbucks, target, jack in the box, chipotle, and every other place that gun control advocates claimed to have banned guns in. It is only illegal to carry if you are asked to leave- but if you are concealing it they would have no way of knowing.Comments:
dennis burton - It's illegal if they have a sign posted saying carrying is banned. And obviously if you are asked to leave. At least that's my understanding. I always look for such signs before I enter an establishment.
william s. carey - California had an open carry law until this conservative hero changed everything in May of 1967!! I don't hear anyone saying anything about this at all!!
brian malloy - Sign or no sign im still carrying 1st they dont even know i have it and 2nd im sure if some asshole came in trying to jihad some people that the police or the establishment wouldnt really hold it against you if you stopped that person.
kathleen brenner - That's the beauty of concealed ;)
ryan fleming - At least Kroger has held out.
josh hunter - They have the right to put up a sign saying i can't carry a gun on their property and i have the right to take my business elsewhere. That's the beauty of a free market economy.
jen magana - Sign on door means they just don't get my business or my money
bryan harvey - Say you have a CCW and walk into a gun-free zone. A psycho starts shooting and you stop them. Guess who goes to jail. You. Why? because defending yourself is bad. Especially when the government intends to control you.
raymond alaniz - I have never seen a 30.06 at target.
bryan turner - Keep it up folks commenting on Facebook that you will carry against laws where signs are upheld in court and it won't be long before we lose our rights. Simple solution they don't want your money so give it to someone else.
matt hutnyk - It's not illegal to carry. It's their preference that you don't.
There are no legal ramifications. The worst they can do is deny you service and ask you to leave.
brian orluk - I have noticed more and more little signs entering businesses that express "no firearms". But that sign only is for legal educated gun owners. Crooks and physio' s carry everyhwere regardless of rules/laws. The signs usually say "NO BARE FEET" "NO SPITTING" ETC as well.
jennifer lopez geagley - Read the damn post people. These places DO NOT ban it. It is LEGAL to carry in them
bertimus prime - If a company has a policy to not carry a gun, and they ask you to leave because of it, the only trouble you can get into is trespassing, and that is only if you don't leave. That is the glory of capitalism, you can take your business elsewhere to a place that holds similar values to you. Unless you are a company that doesn't want to make a cake for a specific customer, then you lose your rights.
eric douglas crane - Why support a company that does not support your Civil Rights? They don't want my business. I am happy to oblige.
james theman - This varies state to state. Check your local statutes. That should be added to the original post.
clayton burkland - But you still want to give your money to a place like that..?
willie lee - In that case, you don't need a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
el ferdinand - I live in Virginia and I open carry while going into Chipotle all the time
taylor ray harris - I refuse to listen to there stupid rules. I'll never go into a Starbucks anyways.
frank legerski - Don't go there. When they lose enough business they might change their thinking.
- Many people constantly tell gun owners that the second amendment is useless because a revolutio (Type: status | Published: 2014-10-27T04:27:13+0000)
Gun Rights: Many people constantly tell gun owners that the second amendment is useless because a revolution is not possible. Eric Frein has been able to evade an army of over 1,000 cops for nearly 7 weeks now- while the town is basically under martial law. Just imagine what would happen if there was someone like Eric Frein in every state. The government would be freaking out. Imagine if there were 20 people like Frein in every state. Now think of 20 different teams of 3-5 people fighting the government in each state. That would make it impossible for 1,000 cops to go up against each person. After months of this, with massive defects from the police, it would be enough to bring the government down- or force them to declare martial law which would make things much worse for them in the long run. If 3% of gun owners (or 1%) of the population took up arms against the government we would outnumber them. When they can't win while being outmatched 1000-1, what do you think the results would be if it was 1-1? Or if they had 1 for every 3 people fighting? I sincerely hope that it doesn't have to come this because I don't want to see good people die, but it is a possibility. If there was an all out revolution, the people would win.Comments:
ryan a-town - Until the drone strikes rain hellfire missiles down on us lol
bryan garland - The way I see it, if Egyptians can overthrow a government with Twitter sticks and stones, a mass of angry drunk freedom loving rednecks with AR-15s could do a real number.
john beatty - Until we block the signal with a high voltage spark gap emitter and flood radio frequencies with interference, then drone gets sad and flies home under auto pilot
tony elgordo araiza - You can't make an omelet without breaking a few good eggs. Remember your history that's all we got left against the machine.
william paco fmsg wasik - This sounds so familiar...where have I heard this idea...?
Oh wait, I remember:
You know, if
One person, just one person does it they may think he's really sick and
They won't take him. And if two people, two people do it, in harmony,
They may think they're both faggots and they won't take either of them.
And three people do it, three, can you imagine, three people walking in
Singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and walking out. They may think it's an
Organization. And can you, can you imagine fifty people a day,I said
Fifty people a day walking in singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and
Walking out. And friends they may thinks it's a movement.
And that's what it is , the Alice's Restaurant Anti-Massacre Movement, and
All you got to do to join is sing it the next time it come's around on the
paul t. sedon - There are more hunters in the woods on the opening day of rifle deer season in PA then there are local, state, and federal agents in the whole country. They don't stand a chance.
don carey - When is this revolution going to start all I here is talk I want the U.S. To look like Syria cities reduced to rubble, no water or food, dead bodies littering the streets kids killed everywhere yes rise up in a bloody revolution it would be great and you can feast on the dead children! Most Americans have never been to war smelled war hell almost no one has seen a dead body except in a casket! You talk big but when it comes down to it you will do nothing!
joseph haloboy west - The people always win. We did in the Revolutionary War, we did in the Civil War and the Nazis almost won WWII despite being outnumber and surrounded on all fronts as well. If the Russians didnt cooperate with the rest of the Allies, the Axis would have won. Numbers dont amount to much, when you have something to fight for, instead of a tax payer paycheck.
jim west - But also, the sad part is that I believe that today, the majority of the population would actually side with the government.
arthur pine - While I get what your saying, Your forgetting the level of firepower and training the Military has to combat this type of behavior. Not too Mention you could never get enough to fight. Just my observation in the end the resistance would loose as they always do. You can not fight a civil war like that bud, the average person would not stand for you killing their freinds and families. If you really want to affect change through violence of action you need to adjust your target. Fight the policy makers not the people who carry out their mis deeds. Think about it; people need to earn a living and there are people who are draw to that type of work such as Police and Military. You have to get rid of the bad policy makers make them afraid only when you do that will they stop attacking our freedom. I am not condoning violent action against the government, I am simply stating that you have you eye on the wrong sight picture.
corey marshall iii - Too bad there is literally like 0.05% of people in the states with the kind of expertise and know how of frein. I'm all for putting up a fight, and knowing my home terrain but I know I could not hide anywhere near as well as he
drew blasko - I was in the marine corps, and if there was a good cause to overthrow the government that i personally believed in, i would have left and fought for the people. After all i swore to protect the CONSTITUTION (not the government) against ALL enemies, foreign AND DOMESTIC. Im sure i wasn't the only one in the military that thought that. So take that into consideration as well.
matt stampfler - There's well over 300,000,000 people in the US. Like they say it only takes 3%, that's 9,000,000 people. There's ruffly 2,000,000 in the military and probably safe to say there is less then a million LE and other govt agency's. Even if we way over inflated the numbers and said 1,500,000 LE/govt personnel, that's still well over a 2:1 ratio. That's if and only If no one defects from the Mil/LE/Govt. So please tell me how can't a revolution happen???????
e.j. thompson - Until the country is returned to the people it will not change. Big business runs this country and will until the people have had enough. Then it will be too late. We must bring our children up knowing that and try to teach them how to reverse it. Civil war will only get a lot of people killed. It won't change government. Politicians are owned by big business. Buy local, stay out of Walmart and support local farmers. That's a start. But people are spoilt, they want easy and convenient. They will give up their rights to have it done for them. They don't want to face reality.
don carey - You want change start voting out the people that have been in office 40 years or more! The problem with our country is you only have lawyers and lots of millionaires in office we need the everyday joe to run for office the plumber, mail guy, etc
Second thing is money out of politics that means people like the Koch brothers need to
Stop spending millions on races in other states to advance there agenda, the founding fathers where against one or two people having that much control there called KINGS
john kennedy - toe to toe , yes , but with the military complex and the weaponry , it would be a blood bath . , unless the military was on the peoples side . which is slowly dismantled . !
ronald torrez - I would hope that our soldiers(and others called upon), to disarm us would not fire upon fellow citizens and disobey any orders to do so!
pat disney - then I look around, not all cops and military are bad, i would believe the desertion rate would be astronomical if government turned on the people.
pat disney - the estimate is roughly 14 million hunters, and 200 million armed citizens. looking at the charts provided by the FBI, on average nation wide there are 3.5 Leo's per 1000 citizens. when you take into account that little fact, then consider that law enforcement totals actually out number the military?? it's pretty impressive, its also kind of laughable that some people think the government would be foolish enough to goad the citizens into an armed confrontation. http://www2.fbi.gov/ucr/cius2009/data/table_70.html

steve smith - So much ammo (no pun intended), so little time. What idiots!
robert tanksley - Well if you dont like my guns yooooouuuu can get the fuck ooooouuuttt. Merica
dustin smith - If she feels this strongly about guns, she should move to a third world country with strict gun control... And no groceries.
albert castro - But it's true it's not safe at Walmart the police going to shoot people with toys
james theman - She just made a contribution to the official distribution arm of the People's Republic of China which they will use to buy guns......
roger moore - If she didn't feel safe then she probably wouldn't have gotten 38 items. She was just looking for something to complain about. I hate people like that
chris beall - She went to Walmart and spent money in protest of Krogers ??????? I work for walmart in southeast area . We sell guns ! It dont stop shoppers feom spending that money .
josh westwood - Funny she posted it to Kroger which is a totally different company than walmart
patrick sandoval - Funny because all the king supers/krogers that I've been to in denver all have armed guard.
andrew folsom - Nothing say America more than shopping for guns at Walmart
chad vincent iv - She sounds like a hypocrit. does she feel safe when a trooper is the only one with a gun in a courtroom?
jenny smith - GUN CONTROL?? The best way to acquire that is using BOTH hands!!
j. terrell butler - I have no complaints about guns. I just hope those who have them use them properly.
Exercise good gun control. Hit your target!!
chuck boyd - Ever hear of one stop shopping? Lol
cody johns - Getting a new shotgun soon. I'm not going to Walmart, because you would not believe how much they overcharge. There's a local business here called Cherry's. Their prices are about 70% of Walmart's.
james jacobson - Bought my first gun at Wally World ! Not anymore ! Lucky if i find any ammo I need once a month !
vanessa blanda - That is the dumbest correlation when it comes to guns. Seriously, it must've taken this woman a long time to gain that much stupidity about guns and the relationship to walmart and groceries.

I don't care if they took me to jail or not i would be stepping in and doing something about it not just taping it!!!! This is what is wrong with a lot of our country. jenn ferdico harrison - She wasn't at a protest she was in a restaurant eating dinner with her family!!! And they just walked outside the restaurant and they grabbed her 17 year old son and said they had the right to frisk him.the cop recognized him from a violation he got arrested for a year prior.so he thought he had the right to frisk him. The mother who was pregnant said get off my son and they threw her to the ground stomach down hit her and tased her on her stomach. They could have hurt that child.her was a minor with his parent and a couple other family members that all they did was go out to a family dinner and leave the restaurant! They put not just one child but 2 children in danger and I think she should press charges.ppl don't realize they don't have to wait for the state t decide to press charges.she can go into internal affairs and press personal assault charges for her and her son and being she's over 6 months pregnant she can press charges for assault and attempted murder to that baby.she does have that legal right civilians' can press charges on an officer.u can press charges on anyone! Just cause u have a badge doesn't exempt u from the law! No one is above it!!!! I luv most cops I have friends that r responsible cops and some family members who are cops who r responsible as well. So I'm not against them.and they don't advertise that ppl can press charges but yes u can !!!! U can get restraining orders against cops as well! NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW! Gun Rights: Arizona ruling says police can temporarily take guns
A new Arizona court ruling says police can take temporary custody of a person's gun for officer-safety reasons even if the person's contact with police was voluntary.
A man appealing a firearms misconduct conviction argued that Phoenix police wrongfully took his gun after he agreed to talk with officers on a street in a high-crime area.
An Arizona law allows police to take temporary custody of firearms during encounters with people, and the Court of Appeals ruled that includes times when a person is not in custody and merely in consensual contact with police.
The ruling says that gives police flexibility while safeguarding the rights of lawfully armed individuals.
A dissenting judge argued that the law only applies when there's an "investigative" stop based on reasonable suspicion of criminal activity.
oscar blank - I'd still rather live there any day. Compared to CA, AZ is like gun owner's heaven.
kathy brumley - It certainly is unconstitutional. If a person is not being detained or arrested then where is your probable cause to do anything other than talk to them?
christopher j. hubbell - Won't be talking to Arizona Law Enforcement any time soon... the state will see a negative effect associated with this ruling... law abiding citizens are going to refrain from interacting with LEOs to report crimes, offer eye witness testimony at the scene of a crime, etc... this ruling is gonna bite 'em in the ass...!
joseph chapman - UNCONSTITUTIONAL! That judge needs to be disbarred. He should know better than to say that.
bobby curtiss - Based on the alleged statements, this would be a violation of our second amendment.
ken pk - Great way to ensure that people who own guns NEVER talk to the police...and if they do, they will delay talking to them until they can secure their guns, potentially causing life-threatening delays in police actually doing what they are paid to do.
richard mgtow - They cannot if it violates the constitution.
matthew crawford - Sounds like a good reason to stay away from Arizona
keith estanol - Really? In Arizona?

Gun Rights: This is how we know the media controls society.Comments:
larry bigcountry - Can you believe there is a movement to make him a Saint, they are trying to get him canonized... He was a damn thug.
jericho wood - Correction, this is how we know media controls ignorant society.
gregg radford - If Trayvon had been killed in Iraq or Afghanistan Obama and Sharpton wouldn't even know his name.
melvin firestone - GMOs are surrounded in myth, find the truth here http://tinyurl.com/qcg3z8l
randy dryja - That horse is dead...quit beating it
carlos ortiz - People are idiots. , won't fight for their rights but would make a big deal over a thug ..!!!
katlin mullen - Talk to someone about Fast and Furious- Tey'll think you're talking about the movie, Talk about Benghazi- They'll ask "what is that?", Agree to Zimmerman defending himself- They'll call you RACIST.....
brian powell - How come the public was never told these things? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ebu6Yvzs4Ls
patrick akers - If you can figure out how to do it Dakota go on to Utube and look up Travons Criminal History Record and his Fight Club Record. Maybe if you knew that he had to beat homeless men for his gang initiation you might take a different view. Stop looking at pictures of Trayvon and believing what these racial agitators tell you. Try using your brain for a change and stop being a racist sheep!
justin paschall - Bah bah black sheep....
patrick akers - Yea and if his mother hadn't kicked him out of her house in Miami because of gang activity and drugs he wouldn't have been there for Zimmerman to follow. We can play this WHAT IF, WHAT IF game all day but you are starting to sound like the prosecution.
jacqueline charles rab - I watched an interesting video on that boy. He was kicked out of school for being in a fight club. He had been kicked out of his home 3 times. He was addicted to "Lean". He had gone to the store to buy 2/3 of the concoction. He was extremely sexually active. Lean makes you very aggressive. This was no sweet, good boy. He was trouble.
ashley trixy barton - I don't care how pissed off you are, wishing death on someones innocent children is pathetic. And right after you bring God into it.. Some Christian you are. Just giving all the GOOD Christians a bad name.
matt jenkins - I choose to ignore this stuff, or else I would hate my country with a passion.
patrick akers - To Anthony: So what if he was unarmed? If he was minding his business he would of gone straight home to watch the all star game. He chose instead to wait for Zimmerman to catch up to teach him a lesson. Flight or fight. He chose fight. How did that work out for him?
jesse allatt - Bla bla race bla bla enough about race ... How about some real life issues people
betty jean downing - Its a horrible thought that this is what our society cares about and will march for. Looting and destroying public and personal property is no way to honor someones memory.
nolan herndon - lol....which one is a true phony scandal?
jeremy c lee - And to the stupid fuckin bitch mysti what kind of person are you for wishing death on peoples children? And you talk about god in the same post? You madam are the worst kind of person and I can only hope that someone like you gets whatever kind of horrible shit you deserve and if you have kids they never find out how big a piece if shit you are...
bill thepokerguy - You foregot one.....look who is in the white house
miguel padilla - That's a lie you know damn right I'm the fast and furious section there would be people drifting !!!
- Arkansas school to arm teachers with concealed weapons
CLARKSVILLE, Ark. -- As Cheyne Dougan (Type: status | Published: 2013-07-31T01:56:26+0000)
Gun Rights: Arkansas school to arm teachers with concealed weapons CLARKSVILLE, Ark. -- As Cheyne Dougan rounded the corner at Clarksville High School, he saw three students on the floor moaning and crying. In a split-second, two more ran out of a nearby classroom. "He's got a gun," one of them shouted as Dougan approached with his pistol drawn. Inside, he found one student holding another at gunpoint. Dougan aimed and fired three rounds at the gunman. Preparing for such scenarios has become common for police after a school shooting in Connecticut last December left 20 children and six teachers dead. But Dougan is no policeman. He's the assistant principal of this school in Arkansas, and when classes resume in August, he will walk the halls with a 9 mm handgun. Dougan is among more than 20 teachers, administrators and other school employees in this town who will carry concealed weapons throughout the school day, making use of a little-known Arkansas law that allows licensed, armed security guards on campus. After undergoing 53 hours of training, Dougan and other teachers at the school will be considered guards. mike fatthead cellucci - They should do this almost everywhere.
bryan harvey - Anti gun idiots need to realize that a lot of CCW holders carry because they accept reality and realize anything is possible, not because they like to feel macho, powerful, or to compensate for something. No one is ever truly safe. At least with a weapon on you, there's a chance you can make it out alive.
lisa martin - I carry. I believe my gun is like my God. I have Him. I don't care if you don't. I care that I do. I won't force my God or my gun down your throat...unless you put me in a situation where I have no other viable choice.
chris hess - Most ccw holders are realist, better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. Hope to God I never need it....
talbert reynolds - Don't you hate when the liberal anti gun media says all the what if situations. At least the children and teachers will have a fighting chance. They have NO CHANCE in schools with no guns.
brenda echols - Yes about time. The government is not going to protect our children. We, as parents, teachers, administrators, etc are going to have to do it for all our children's sake. Way to go Arkansas! I am going to loom into the laws on Louisiana to see if we have the same thing somewhere in our laws.
robert w mckinney - In the hands of a totally sane man or woman a conceled weapon should be no problem anywhere needed!!!!
jason keene - What surprises me is why doesn't every school in the US not have this implemented years ago?...
janet cicco - hell yes!! all schools need to do this
austin tyler perry ruffin - Shane, no student should ever have an opportunity to take if these teachers are responsible gun owners and carriers. And should it cross a students mind to take the gun, the concept of some 30-odd other armed people in the building at that exact moment should give them a bit of pause...
dean hohenberg - The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun, LP
shane kelley - All schools should allow this
barbara bohn - I like Dean's comment! It takes a good gun to stop a bad gun!
william ward - good going from Clarksville, Tennessee
mike gioia - I live in Connecticut not to far from where that shooting happened and this will be the last place they would allow this. It makes no sense. You would think they would be all for this idea, considering it happened here, but oh no we are going to make it a gun-free zone so it's easier for the criminal to kill more people. At my school we have one police officer, but even thats a joke because at this size of my school a maniac could kill dozens before help arrives. I agree 100% with this law and would feel a lot safer as a student if it was allowed here!!!
nick webb - First a school in Missouri, now here. This is definitely a step in the right direction! Having citizens such as teachers (who have been trained) with a weapon able to defend his/her class is so much better than a police officer or two, who are just asleep in the front office...
michael w. hilliard - If I had a kid I'd send them there for sure!
andrew circle - This is fantastic!!! It keeps schools safer and greatly decreases the threat of a mass casualty shooting and it's cheaper than hiring an actual guard. What's not to love?!
shane coole-faircloth - The only thing iffy about this, its the possibility of a student snagging the gun from the unsuspecting carrier.
jim minor - If my kids were in that school I would want someone trusted to be able to protect my children
tina webster - Hope they do it at more schools... :-)

Gun Rights: Two cops shoot an unarmed black man on his own driveway. He's an elderly man who went out to get cigarettes from his mom's car, then someone called the cops and they responded rather quickly. The police told him to put his hands up, and he thought it was a friend playing a joke. Now you can't blame him for thinking it was a joke, because he was doing nothing wrong. Thankfully he survived, but Imagine if a citizen did this. They would probably get 5 different felonies and face 20 years in prison. But since they have a special badge they get paid administrative leave. That guy was just trying to get cigarettes from his mother's car. These instances are out of hand.Comments:
jeremy rawley - Where's the outrage from race pimps?
mark santos - Put these cops in jail and call it a,day
jim mckinley - Why does this say "black man" and not just "a man"? Leave it to NY daily news to create racial tensions where none exist.
oscar torres - A lot of people one here are speaking out of their ass, the fact is that the article is missing some pieces and people werent there!! So how would you know anything about the case? All of you who let your emotions get to you and are quick to talk shit about officers or regular people are the same type of people that believe what the mainstream media says, a good example is the zimmerman case. I liked the page 'gun rights' because i thought they would defend gun rights but judging from seeing this article with missing pieces im starting to believe that they are just like the liberal mainstream media. Defend our rights with legit facts not incomplete articles
Ps im a future law enforcement officer who believes in the constitution and who is against gun control. Step in the shoes of an officer and lets see if you are quick to talk and quick to judge. Have a good day people and God bless
summer hamilton brown - What's with all the anti-law enforcement sentiment from this page?
Um, let's see...police receive call...police respond to call...subject of call refuses to stand still and put his hands up, while holding a metal object.
WHAT did the police do again that was wrong? Goodness, if I'm being raped, I really hope the police don't stand there and say "We really mean it, put your hands up! No, seriously, PLEASE stop smacking the woman. We're asking nicely."
john david roland - why not wright about some thing good the police do
nieves d arango-barrios - When anyone of you making idiotic and or any type if statements against cops, can or do walk in the shoes and face it head on day in and day out, most times for worthl pieces of shits, and you are willing to risk your own lives, maybe then you'll have a reality check and think twice about talking shit about cops. Don't talk the crap if you're not willing to walk the walk. Point blank and simple. No one knows what happens out there unless you are out there. So in other words STFU!!!!!!!
kelsey osborn - These are what cops are trained to do these days. Just shoot anybody who they believe is a threat, even if they are absolutely no threat at all! It pisses me off.
holyspirit trinitycorp - Cops don't look like friends playing a joke. You don't fuck around with cops unless you wanna get shot. When cops tell you to put your hands up, you do it. I don't feel sorry for this dipshit.
angi angi - we need to remember these are public servants...and when they start doing things like this...we need to start firing ( not firing upon) said 'public servants'.
adam sheffler - Smoking is hazardous to your health...you could die of lead poisoning
giovanni de leon - The race should not of been mentioned, all that should matter was a "MAN" was shot in his drive way by cops. Their are plenty of unjust things that happen to all races all the time that u don't hear about.
kyle curiale - Paid leave??? smfh... and cops wonder why people dont trust them.
jeremy vickers - If a cop does stuff like that take his badge cause they are just bullies with special rights once more proves certain people have more rights than others this is america equal rights yeah right
ray zehrung - those police need to be charged with attempted murder, assault, using a firearm in the commission of a felony and they need to do time. Period.
ryan morris - After being fooled into thinking that Trayvon was an innocent little boy killed by a "wanna-be" cop patrolling his neighborhood for evil doers, i will reserve the right to wait for more information.
fredric red - Why is everyone so hell bend on hating all police officers. Did anyone read the story? Or know how involved policing is? In no way am I saying they were justified. However some of your comments are just as bad as some anti-gun people so much hate for people... Yes cops are people too. Have you guys looked at any facts? There are certain variables that people over look. One its a robbery not a Grand larceny of auto or a suspicious man. The article says robbery, so thats gun out automatically, two 2;43 AM it might be dark, or at least low light. Third he refused to comply, now whats not talked about is did he just turn quickly? Or spin his whole body? Where the officers behind cover? How many shots where fired? Where they in fear for there life? Admin leave is standard pending any investigation for any police officer to determine if its a good shooting. A trial determines if they were criminal. The mans AGE has nothing to do with it a bullet from a15 year old can kill just the same as a 90 year old. Also to does anybody think the man could be lying why is it the article says his a victim so he is one? People need to stop getting emotional and think.
nick villa - Nieves Barrios thank you. I'm retired after starting in law enforcement in 1972 - 2004 I have seen the public attract ALL police officers for what a few bad ones did. It's the same as attacking all blacks or Hispanic for a few. Thank you again, you made me smile with a tear
donald perry - Cops should be held accountable for their actions as well as civilians, that I agree upon whole heartedly. There are great cops out there and
A few like these ruin it for them all! Hope he
Has a speedy recovery!
joseph noto - Or maybe this is big government cracking down on smokers. Next the cops will be shooting people for having big sodas.
ted millington - Time for a lawsuit I do believe.

Gun Rights: http://www.secretsofthefed.com/gun-control-by-proxy-insurance-companies-vow-to-drop-schools-if-teachers-carry-concealed-under-new-law/Comments:
john stedman - this sucks...they need to carry to avoid another columbine, sandyhook ect...
ferdinand irrgang - Get a different Insurance company check with the NRA
michael kamin - why should you support protecting the children? A tragedy is such an opportunity for the government to "help".
jeremy rice - Every single school should have an armed guard at all times. We have guards at banks to protect money.. why not protect our children in the same manner? They are the most precious things on the planet.. defend them!
juan manuel alcala - if the teachers were allowed to carry guns they could help protect their students encase they got attcked
frederick newcomb - Sandyhook happened because a weak pathetic individual saw a low risk opportunity to take his rage out. If that school had adequate security, armed security, that gunman would have never made it past the front door.
chris walline - Bullshit. If you cant trust your teachers then you shouldnt even have your child in that school
michael chinnici - how about no insurance for cops who carry guns then !!!!
todd walker - Sounds like they have there own insurance!
kevin homer - How about insurance liability for schools that have created 'victim zones' and no security?
frederick newcomb - In a security setting the firearm MUST be visible. It acts as a visual deterrent. The armed employees should get the same benefits as any other employee. The fact of the matter is that if a teacher or security officer is properly trained he should be covered. He is armed not for self defense against attack from the students rather he is armed to protect the students from an attack from an intruder.
david mcdonnell - Teachers with guns ARE insurance.. Against active shooters with evil intentions. These insurance companies should be put out of business...!!
holly henry - This is in its self should be a crime. Punish those who choose to stand and protect us, only in america
angel salcido - Just put 2 fucking cops on each school we all pay for that..
alan sinks - Change your insurance provider...
danny christo - i think the schools should have guns
dean t. saffeels - I'm sure the NRA could come up with a recommendation for an insurance company. May be a windfall opportunity for someone with some balls... and logical thinking...
dawn morgan - If the school is going to train & require teachers to carry &, if necessary, shoot, then the school should be required to insure each & every teacher.
freddie gardner - Teachers need to take a stand together and walk out they should all have insurance armed are not
juan kn - What if some teachers themselves become crazy or active. Or get plunked or their ass beat and someone steals their guns. ? Maybe it should be a little more concealed
jason haggard - Well considering most insurance companies are backed by an army of liberal extremists I expected this.

Gun Rights: Anti-gunner: Would you sell your AR-15 without a background check? Aren't you worried that a criminal might get it? Me: I wouldn't sell my AR-15 to anyone. It's mine for a reason.Comments:
neil topping - My guns are not mine to sell, they belong to my kid, and his kids, and their kids, ext....
ben olson - One does not simply sell his AR15 lol
jeffrey lyon brantley - I don't think I need a background check to judge a mans character..
pelon con suelas de hule - the govt wants us to worry so much about crime.....that's what laws are for. if I sell a gun to a person who is a criminal it isn't my fault that they use the gun in a criminal act. its their fault. remember, guns don't kill people people kill people.
mike rosen - by that reasoning nothing should be sold to anybody.
Don't sell that ski mask, bolt cutters, other tools etc...aren't you worried a burglar will get it.
Don't sell those gloves, a criminal might use them
Don't sell that kitchen knife, it may be used by a criminal to stab somebody
Don't sell that suitcase, a murderer might use it to hide a body.
Don't sell that gasoline, an arsonist might get it.
I think y'all get the idea
neil topping - I may trade em for a better gun though. Hahaha
greg mckendry - This is my rifle there are many like it. But this one is mine.
brett young - You can sell guns? If I were (Which I wouldn't as I love it more than my wife) it goes through an FFL unless you are a close personal friend of mine. Still you are giving me your DL address and phone numbers all on a bill of sale. That way if something does wrong I have proof that it is yours not mine. .
robert wagner - Funny, you don't need a background check to sell a car, but cars kill more than guns ever will.
mike smith - Define criminal?
josh weeks - I buy and sell a lot of guns. And I wouldn't choose to sell one to someone I believe would go kill people but I believe it's everyone's right to buy/sell/own... if someone Has a Felony because of a fight or DUI with something added I believe he should be able to have his gun rights. He has every right to protect himself as we do. Now if a person is a rapist, sex offender, violent crimes, possible suspect.then no. But if I go to the bar and a drunk dirtbag tries getting touchy with a gal org it's his gf in front of me I am probably going to step in. Which then leads to a fight and somehow I end up with a felony. ..I wouldn't e very upset that I lost my gun rights.
holyspirit trinitycorp - That's like selling a kidney.
russell r moreton - I'd sell a lung b4 I sold Janet
skybox richard - there's only one way to get mine do I really need to say how
jonathan upright - Stephen P. McKee
ceny perez - I want to buy it and don't worry u can check my background I'm clean is almost impossible to get my license here in NYC
ada gal de souza - We don't sell, and if we do it would be a close friend or relative and even then, why would I want to sell? I would never be able to replace it for the price I paid.
michael melville - Agreed with Ship Wreck...the person commits the crime. The tool they choose to commit the crime has no relevance in the commission of the crime. It may be a more or less destructive tool, but then it becomes another crime (Robbery vs assault with a deadly weapon).
matt ciresi - Before I sell something to someone, I always check their DL. Take a picture or get a copy of it for record. Have them sign a bill of sale also. No need to report it to the government. If there is ANYTHING sketchy about the person or why he wants it, the sale is off. If it comes back to me, I have the information to get that person off the streets.
william williams - We will all be criminals one day as more and more laws are made to protect the oligarchs from the starving and desperate masses.
el piyon - Who would dare sell their ar 15?? I got offered 2500 for my 15 and I couldn't sell it. I built it. Its like a car

tom fisherman murphy - You can't legislate peoples safety.....
mitchell melquiades palacio - Construcrion workers UNITE !!!!
lesandro chavez - Oakland has gone full retarted
tony franks - Why don't we just ban hands. Without those we can't use any tools.
clay smith - New York is banning the dangerous soft drinks too, well now I do feel 'a lot' safer! Don't y'all?!
derek beyer - That's what they get in Kælïförnïä
freddy el guero romero - Javier Zambrano Jr.
kaelan song - Well at least they're consistent
zach reynolds - They should totally do this, the rage non gun owners feel reading this is the same feeling gun owners feel when stupid gun bans are placed
ryan le - You seriously got this from naturalnews? it's a horrible source if you want to make a rational argument. I know our side's got the rational high ground compared to the anti-gunners, but it's best we keep this so the libs won't have any ammunition for any ad hominems they want to throw at us
michelle orelup - I bet they won't ban fists.
chris hale - Maybe they should drop a bomb on Oakland and just do about a dime's worth of damage.
julian cavanna - Any common rock, brick, garbage can...anything not tied/bolted down on a regular street can be turned into a "Tool of Vandalism"...what freaking idiots.
nephi lott - it's Oakland. they banned IQs higher than 3 back in the 60s.
danny king - Welcome to the UK, America
adam mott - California is shit.
marjee zeier - That's going to inconvenience some people. It's certain some of those are liberals.
kyle snow - Good. Oakland doesn't protest, they riot...smash windows, burn cars, destroy businesses, etc
