NBC News: Does this mean they should be forced to give back the money?Comments:
Micaiah Gallegos - Most ghetto post!
"They be forced"
Valerie Kelly - Next time this happens people, keep quiet and SLOWLY put them for sale. Be smart.
Matt Harris - I would have sold them off slowly in many different places ,never would have gone to the media
Paul Kirincic - Best thing to do is to keep things off the radar and away from the govt. since they will do anything to get their greedy hands on your money.
Amy Keela Brown - Does NBC News now employ pirates? Arrrr They be forced! Arrrr!
Cindy Moe - If they pay taxes it should be on the value from 150 yrs ago.
DeWayne Ralston - The government always has it's grubby hands in everything.
Josh Hinds - The first time I read about this story, I was curious why they would make this find public in the first place
Pamela Isdell-fox - The government is stealing from the poor again!!! I would never had reported I found it. It's a guarantee that the government would come up with some story to take it!!!
Hollie Humes - If you find money, keep your mouth shut! Did they honestly believe they would be able to keep it?
Tommy Curran - Idiots should have kept their pie holes shut, and gone to a State where they wouldn't have gotten.raped on taxes!
Amy Henline - They be forced....LOL
Marsha Gotcher - I think there should be a statue of limitations somewhere here
Becca Carleton - Was this written by a pirate!?
Vence Barela - That couple sure messed up, should've never told anyone about their find.
Michelle Vallejos-Moore - Just a ploy so the the govt can get their nitty gritty hands on it.
Michelle Murray - Article says it's NOT from heist
Trieste LaPorte - Are you intentionally speaking like a pirate.... Arrrrre you?
Priscilla Williams Wooten - Is Lil Wayne writing for them? They be forced.....really?
Jacob Rubio - ""They be forced" lol
Nikolaei James Creasy - That grammar doe......

Howard Ray - You left out the most obvious and most likely, Putin ignores the US and Obama does, as he always does, nothing.
Hunter Gabel - Fantastic journalism.
THIS SITUATION WILL EITHER:
1. GET WORSE.
2. STAY THE SAME.
3. GET BETTER/
Scott Meyer - for those who prefer actual news to this miguided crap from NBC
Bozena Jolanta - Hands off!!!!!! PUTIN BACK OFF of Ukraine!!!!
Nancy J Schunter - You are brilliant, NBC. I don't think anyone else could have come up with those three options.
Maricela Andrade - Putin is playing his hand at the Republican Anti Obama game - He knows they don't respect our President, He knows our military men have been at war too long So he is pushing buttons; Beware what you get when Push comes to Shove -- your own people might Turn on you Putin !!! Just like we are about to Kick Out Republicans. Hopefully we will be able to Ship them to you since they ADMIRE you so much considering They did not have the UMph to get Osama or end the war !!!!
Roberta Gibson Keys - The way I look at this is we could solve a big problem in the US. There is a grpup of people who are ready to fight here in the US. They have lots of military style guns and all the ammo they could buy. Let's just load up several planes of those people who want a war and let them fight to their hearts content. Who ever survives we will bring them home. We will have the men and women of our military safe and able to defend our country. They have been in enough of Bush/Cheney wars. Our military needs a break.
Rick Wallace - Lets drone Puttin! Next
Jordan Stoltzfus - Stalemate. He knows that to attack will bring in NATO and her armies. The US alone can beat Russia in a war of attrition (it would be long and bloody, but they'd run out of money, men, and machines before us.), so he won't escalate. Also it's too late to back down. To do so will cost him his credibility. He has dug a hole, and the world is waiting for him to either climb out, or dig deeper so they can burry him.
Todd Deatherage - I wish you guys would learn to write headlines.
None of the options presented will be the end of this.
Jeffrey Stone - Obama is a pussy. Putin shames him again. Ukraine loses...
Rosy Kemmy - Oh, people in Sudan are being killed and no one seem to care . what a world :(
Karen Kehrer - The neo cons need to shut up. All they want is wars
Angus Johnny - Obama does what Bush did about Georgia in 2008, he goes fishing!
Mike Springer - Glad to have NBC to tell me that it will either get worse, get better or stay the same. Maybe later they'll do a story on how tomorrow I'll either live or die.
Jer Poth - Lets rephrase that intelligently... there are TWO possible outcomes... 1..the US lets the EU handle this..and it gets resolved.. or 2..the US intervenes and causes this to get much much worse.
Sean Robinson - NATO is looking to gain control over Georgia and the Ukraine for the same reason in my opinion, because they are both bordering Russia. Its just a power move to prevent/stall Russia from continuing south as it has been over many years. Russia tries to control the middle east just as much, if not more than the U.S. Russia actually controls Azerbaijan bordering Russia and Georgia and continues to push south toward the middle east aiding Iran and Syria basically annexing them slowing.
Russia invaded Georgia back in 2008 for getting too friendly with NATO. Russia basically is trying to create a complete monopoly on all the oil/natural gas in the region. Look at Germany's reaction to all this... Even China is dependent on Russian oil and natural gas. All of this negatively effects the economy for all NATO nations. It's just a fight over resources. NATO wants into the Ukraine to slow Russia down and Russia flexes their military muscle to stop NATO from moving into the bordering countries.
Sidney Graves - We just have a Pusey for a president
Frank Simser - Things could be good, they could be bad, or they might be neither. Wow. Thank you. That is a crack analysis team you've got there at NBC. What else is in store for us Nostradamus?
Jean Kilchenstein - Putiin is a meglomaniac, plus many other syndromes that push him toward the ultimate goal. This seems to be the rationalization right
Jeffrey Stone - Putin does these things because he is a tyrant.

Bdr Dan Theman - why is this even news...
Lena Anderson - You had one job, Travolta. One job.
April Keefe Sutherland - It's okay Travolta. Nobody else knew who the hell she was either....
Amy Hoskins - Someone should tell him "let it go" to the hairpiece. Seriously.
Lauren Doughten - i love John Travolta. believe me, nobody knows more just how important names are. I own a business based on personalizing with names and monograms. But it's not the end of the world and I'm glad he made light of it (while apologizing.) It's OK John Travolta. We forgive and love you!!!!
Becca Hance - Good Lord people! He misprounced her name...big deal, it happens!
Romona Bratcher - Stop being vain John. Put your glasses on!
Kurt Holly - Wow...looks like the wax museum Travolta figure...weird.

Carrie Weston Lenzen - He didn't mispronounce it, he made up a completely new name.
Karen Kaphingst - It must be tough being a celebrity. My God, the man made a mistake, who of us haven't. Stop beating him up. Let it go is right~
Sean Garitson - Way to go Jan Tamoli
Pat Potter - Too little, too late.
Stephanie Maes - Why is this news? There are more important things going on in this world! I mispronounce names all the time at work.
Monica Renee Lowman - He is only human every one makes mistakes.
Shèilãh Walters - People are so vapid.....LET IT GO PEOPLE!!
Janet Rose - I think it's time for everyone to let it go.
Kelsey Erin Jones - It was a mistake not the end of the world. ..people who are making this a big deal are the losers.
Sandy Hart Adams - And this matters why?

NBC News: FCC fines three media companies, including NBCUniversal, for using ‘this is not a test’ emergency warning tones in movie trailer alongside images of White House blowing up: http://nbcnews.to/1kPHnb8Comments:
Wanda G. Willis - Good...we need to know that when we hear that it is the real thing...
Will Drawenek - Meanwhile in Russia....
Jeramie Amerson - an emergency alert tone triggers EAS systems .. an EAS system hears that tone and sends it on down the line to all TV and radio stations telling them that there is an alert .. so not really a joke .. the FCC is right on this one .....
Julie Clark Jentzen - I'm surprised they haven't gotten on to recording artists who use sirens in their songs. When listening to the radio in our cars it prompts us to look around for emergency vehicles!
Chris Freedle - It's a freaking movie. Wow
Liz Dove - Nobody called out The Purge for playing the Emergency Broadcast tone in it's trailer come on people.
Raymond Gray - Its a moive, my god just the gov taking money. Why dont they fine fox news
Michael Pingrey - I believe this ruling has its roots in the radio airing of War of the Worlds," which, because it was presented as reality, caused mass panic in the United States in the 1930s.
SO X Corum - Now can you take sirens out of songs on the radio when I'm driving?!
Quay Murchison West - Good. Because it's an EMERGENCY SIGNAL. If you hear something too often, you ignore it. The signal is supposed to draw attention. Idiots !
Amy Washburn - Hilarious, when you consider that on 9/11, the one time we really OUGHT to have used the EBS warning tones...they weren't used at all.
Brandon Ellis - yea, government dollars at work right there. lets monitor which alarm tone a movie uses. monitoring big companies that are cheating Americans everyday? nah.... wouldnt wanna do that.
David Torres - It's a movie! It's entertainment! It's not real! I don't understand what the FCC are giving NBC Universal a fine for! What about freedom of speech? You MORONS!
Patrick Secrest - If you thought these ads were real, you obviously ate paint chips and licked windows as a child.
Thomas Carroll Jr. - I just watched the trailer and it was clearly an ad for a movie. I do not know who started this stupid lawsuit, but there has to be more to the story than this.
Katie M Lovering - It is a movie, oh please. Someone acted like it was real? Just like people did back in the past when War Of The Worlds was on the radio, people thought that was real, hahahahahahaha!
Eddie Ruppert - Absolutely the dumbest thing I've heard today
John Knutson - I whistled the Andy Griffith song in the shower this morning. Is that still allowed?
Matt Peterson - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vb0-EbnUHhk
Dave Laforest - do the same thing with sirens on the radio
Ray Zav - getting money any which way they can..

NBC News: So what makes Putin tick? http://nbcnews.to/1fCWv6LComments:
Mike Nunnery - Little man syndrome.
Jeff Smulyan - He wants to bring back the Soviet Union.
Steve Bowen - I'll tell you what makes him tick is the fact that the US has a congress that won't do anything about current events. All they want to still talk about is Benghazi or clear back about Bill Clinton. Where's all the talking about Russia.
The republicans are awful quite !!!!
Erick Bumpass - Hmmmmm.....former KGB Communist that is now their President. Go figure. He is a nut job and I think he is provoking the West.
Ruth H. Bloch - When are people going to realize that Obama is handling every situation that has come up since he is in office with his head and not with his you know what.... like the Republicans did with Iraq Afghanistan. If Obama would have handled it like Bush/Cheney by now we would have been at War with Iran and now Russia..Time for everyone else to join in with USA ...I am tired of us being the good guys and stepping in everywhere there is another Dictator that wants to go to war. Putin is acting just like Hitler.... We need to take care of our own and I Congratulate Obama on standing his ground and handling it the diplomatic way. Russia is just like Iran a time bomb and if we start another War this time the weapons will be bigger than ever and we might as well blow ourselves up and this earth into smitherines...
Daniel Macha - "“I think he is in a dangerous state of mind and not thinking fully about the long-term consequences of other things that he, his government and his private sector have tried to build,” McFaul said. “And that’s not a good situation for the world right now.”"
Kinda sounds like our GOP in the US.
Steve Bowen - Well David Stambach if you like him so much and disrespect our President then move to Russia
Chris G Miller - Country hosts Olympics, then invades another country. Where have we seen this before?
Mace Ravenwolf - I don't care what anybody thinks.. the man made a decision and carried it through. Despite Obama's little warnings. So here's the difference between these two leaders One issued a warning and carried it out, the other (our guy) issued a warning and.. still waiting to see the big slap on the wrist here.. not seeing anything... yeah I didn't think Obama would do anything, just all talk.
Pablo Reyna - Putin please have a Snickers. Nobody likes you when you are hungry!
Bryan Plagge - So Barbara! perhaps Obama should send our military into the Ukraine to make you happy. How about we start taking your income and family members first. Righties. Always whine about Obama and never willing to go the full distance.
Jack Judge - Yea, Obama sends troops, then the right screams about that, you can't satisfy bigots
Steven Schick-Morris - What makes Putin tick? Greed, lust for power. Delusions of grandeur. ...Czar Putin the 1st.
Courtney Dawn Van Loon - Him and Obama have an agenda!! Just wait it's the second term and we have yet to see the rath of the two!
Nilla Slim - how's he different than bush?
Bill Finley - Can anyone tell me what concern this is for the USA? This for Russia and Ukraine to resolve.
Barbara Bell - Does no one see the parallels between his actions and the lead up to WWII in Austria in 1938?
Leah Analytical Jean-Batiste - America you now are witnessing the bigots pledges their loyalty to Russia and Putin..spitting in the face of all who died for this country...claiming to be Patriots while dividing and destroying the very fabric that built this country.
Gregory A Ulscht - Thhis guy needs to be taken out.
Malinda Bennett - Putin is a douche bag dictator.
Albert Paoletti - If you live in the US and like Putin then move to Russia.

Bart Karnowski - Hopefully we keep those treasures well protected!
Robert Carlson - Oh yeah and "the government doesn't create jobs!"
Mary Ellen Purdy - Thank you Teddy Roosevelt!!!
Scott T Brady - The sequester was a form of hostage taking.
Frances Morton - Kevin, quit drinking the Fox Nooz kool-aid! Things were shut down because your boys forced a sequester. The President does not do that you dog whistle insecure entitled white boy!
Kevin Connolly - Then why did YOUR president close them in his temper fit?
Steve Larowe - While they might contribute so much money to the economy then why does the government decide that they are the one of the first things to be closed during a government shutdown? Doesn't really make much sense now does it?
Timothy Unrine - Well, I guess MONEY DOES grow on trees.
Christopher McClain - And a study is needed to develop a report in order to figure this out? Wow....
Cora Wilhelm - No Mister Write his Own laws shut the government down.
Learn something other then what NBC tells you
Mary Cameron - Didn't they shut them durring the GOP Government Shutdown and a few other times?
Donna A. Reuter - Repeal Bush's tax cuts and fund them.
Manuel Francisco Seminario - Then where are those billions
Silvia Ordaz - How absolutely beautiful
Cora Wilhelm - No. Let the states keep the money.
No research is needed
Philip Wexler - love the national parks.. with Yellowstone as my favorite.. it;'s too bad the pancakes at the lodge there were so hard.. even Ole Faithful couldnt soften them up.
Len Redding - Among my favorite things about America. Love our National Parks.

NBC News: Mush! Top sled-dog teams from across the globe have gathered in Alaska to compete in this year’s Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. Check out some of our favorite early pics: http://nbcnews.to/1dj5Sfa (Photo: Nathaniel Wilder / Reuters)Comments:
Katharina Vorhauer - I have a husky, she loves to run and pull. She is just 6 mo old and I don't have her pull a sled, but the pulling is instinct, we run and jog together. Only people who never owned a husky can say this is cruel. Their pack behavior is different than other dogs. I have 3 and lived with dogs all my life, a great experience to have a husky. I think they are special, their instinct is extremely strong. Has an Akita before, but she was earlier to handle. The husky is also great around cats, they learn So quick. These dogs are born too run, pull, be demanding.
Joyce James-Wood - What is cruel is to make them couch potato puppies. They love the work and challenge. Read up on working breeds. They are not lap dogs and they need the exercise.
Joe Casey - Joan Fisher, lying about the dogs being killed doesn't help your cause. Have you ever even seen the Iditarod? I'm guessing not.
Pamela Musser-Zipp - Do not believe PETA. They are liars. Did you know they euthanize 98% of the dogs they take in. Look up their financials, etc. These dogs are loved and cared for. Look it up
Charlene Miller-Jones - At Joan Fisher, No, pups in Alaska are not killed if they dont make the grade. And F@$! NO are "hundreds of dogs" killed each year "via" the Iditarod. I have lived in Alaska for 42 years and am very aware of what goes on in the dog mushing community. I for a time lived close by to a few of these Iditarod mushers and know for a fact that they ran a clean healthy stable and safe kennel. Get YOUR facts straight!!!
Joe Casey - By the way Joan Fisher, if someone did kill/abuse their dogs they wouldn't be allowed to participate. The organizers of the Iditarod take he health an safety of the dogs running the race and in the kennels very seriously.
Victoria Randolph - Its not abuse these dogs require activity like that and are bred for this
Victoria Randolph - Peta kills!!!! Its been proven too
Sally Trader - Great test for men and women working together with their dogs.
Angie Allen - Very sad...cruelty to animals
Pamela Musser-Zipp - Debra Grosso you need to educate yourself on Greyhounds. They ARE NOT killed. The are re-homed after their racing career is over. Please people educate yourselves. Pointing to articals that involve an idiot should not make everyone guilty. How many dogs have raced since the beginning of the Iditarod? How many have been beaten to death or killed?
I think you would be surprised at what a small number it is, even though one is too many. As to the greys that have been around for thousands of years. Organizations like Grey2K, who place only about 2percent of the dogs they take in, do nothing but collect donations. The husband and wife thst are are the directors, pay themselves a hefty salary are nothing They are nothing but money grubbing liars. Look it up. It public record
Esteban Ambriz - PETA = Nut jobs. If it were up to them, killing a pesky roach would be capital murder
Katharina Vorhauer - Maybe I need too delete my comment, I had no clue about that. Dragging a dead dog or killing then when they are too slow is very messed up. So it's cruel. I had no idea. Poor dogs. For me they are family
Pamela Stiles - I lived there saw two races ...really kool !!
Jennifer Antilli - I know someone who sled races . Dogs eat and sleep better than her family.
Pamala Little - What is the real cruelty are all the Dogs murdered in the Kill Shelters in the USA. Their owners dumped them because they got to old or they have a health problem. The puppies left from a litter that a puppy mill can't sell. Stray dogs picked up daily. If you didn't know they abort pups to get the Mother adopted. Or if the Mommas in rough shape they will wait until the birth of the litter and Kill the Momma. Pregnant Mommas dumped by owners. That's cruelty. And let's not forget the dogs dragged behind trucks and the pups tortured, the bait Dogs used to train the fighting Dogs. The breeders that breed the Dogs over and over. The Dogs raped by humans repeatedly female and males. Shots to put healthy Dogs to sleep, or gas chambers And how about the Heart sticks they use to murder them in kill shelters. Which are called animal control, animal service, or they might try to hide they are a place that kills and call themselves a shelter. This is cruelty. Don't believe this. Start checking for yourself.
Stacey Widergren-Phillips - @remi, adopt a husky at your local shelter.
Jenn Denega - Animal abuse and cruelty for profit -- disgusting!
Katharina Vorhauer - Mrspennybags S... If it's the innocent kids, yes. If it's dumb adults in jail no.
Katharina Vorhauer - Let's hope that is true Karen Gael Wolf. I love dogs, it hurts to hear these stories
Sadia Cáceres - They shoot, drown, discard of the dogs that can no longer race. Boycott dog sledding!

NBC News: Workers use a crane to recover a 2009 Corvette ZR-1 "Blue Devil" from a sinkhole at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky. on Monday. The first two of eight collector Corvettes were lifted Monday from a 40-foot sinkhole that opened up under the museum Feb. 12: http://nbcnews.to/1dUYqUo (Photo: Adam Boca / Chevrolet via Reuters)Comments:
Bonnie Campbell Iwanow - Praying for the black '62 to come out ok.....
Brandon Martin - sorry but we ( the insurance company ) call the sink hole an act of God and there forth we can not and will not cover your costs.
Caroline Connor - so a man in florida was laying in bed and was in a sink hole, wasnt saved it was "too dangerous" but the cars are saved.....smh sickening!!!
Bryan Gissiner - Ask for the carfax report
Harvey Summers - I wish people cared about the poor, the hungry, the homeless as much as they care about these cars.
Andrea Tinkey - Just because people care about cars doesn't mean they don't care about anything else...
Cristy R. James - It amazes me how they can save the cars in the sink hole with a crane but that poor man in Florida who begged for them to look for his brother whose bedroom was swallowed by a sinkhole was told it was to risky and that a crane would cause more damage. Values and priorities, smh.
Travis Hoylman - Calm down guys. Its just fine to report news on the lighter side too. It doesnt mean anyone cares any less about real issues. Smh..
Eric Storms - They should just fill the hole with more Corvettes.
Angela Michele - Might not be "important" news to some, but it is a relief from the everyday bad news.
Dora Canales McCracken - What a shame and we have vacation pictures standing in this place.
George Anne Keske - I really have to wonder...All the sink holes we hear of and homes fall in..Why so much attention on getting these cars out...I mean you don't hear people saying the are trying to salvage people belongings from sink holes now do you...Just these Big Peoples Toys..
Tina Nason - I love this place. Not a corvette fan, just a fan of anyone that treats vets and soldiers like they do. I was amazed at the respect and love the people there showed to my family members.
Darren Simpson - Chevrolet!!!!! "Like a Rock"!!! Love my Chevy's
Roberto Deriu - Best part was as soon as it was on solid ground. It fired right up and they drove it
Justin Peter Errigo - Why is this important news
Diana McQuady - Regarding a comment made above: Kentucky taxpayers have nothing to do with repairs and costs. Those are covered by insurance. But we do benefit from tourism dollars. The Corvette Museum is heavily visited. And it and the Corvette plant provide jobs, many of which are good-paying jobs.
From what I remember about the Florida sinkhole mentioned by some here, that one continued to expand...and it was dangerous to rescuers to even try to retrieve the man's body after they knew he had passed away. That I know of, the sinkhole in Bowling Green has remained stable since it developed.
I don't have a Vette and wouldn't want one if I could afford one. But we all have things we value or would own if we had the money.
These cars have provided a good livelihood to many people for many decades.
Robert Munoz - Rosemary Ginko not odd when you understand the repercussions of fracking.
Coleen Gogerty - The original story noted that the hole may be the result of an underground cave as there are caves within miles of the museum. I would say the excavation/building process wasn't well investigated! Oops. Sad tho to see these cars destroyed
Angelia Stallworth - All these sink holes. Think movie "2012"
Dru Nugent - It's a shame this wasn't done for the man in Florida that was swallowed while in his bed from a sinkhole last year!!!! They said it was to dangerous to send anyone to get him. So they filled the hole in on top of him.
- Women are increasingly choosing to give birth at home or in birthing centers rather than in the (Type: link | Published: 2014-03-04T05:17:03+0000 | Likes: 0 | Shares: 68)
NBC News: Women are increasingly choosing to give birth at home or in birthing centers rather than in the hospital, a new government report shows.Comments:
Julie Hagar Wright - Neither way is better or worse. Let's set a new trend and not fight about it in the comment section! Different strokes for different folks!
Annemae Love Collins - Women been having babies in huts and caves and stuff for longer than we've had hospitals... Can't be that bad :)
Annemae Love Collins - Childbirth is a natural human process that for thousands of years and still to this day does not require medical intervention. Yes there are deaths, in hospitals there are as well. My point, which shouldn't be taken as offensive, is not forget where we started, and that we are physically and mentally capable/designed to give birth without meds/hospital, and that many women around the world still do.... Why would it upset you for me to feel that way?
Einial Nevlow - Hospitals are much safer in the event that the mother or the baby has real trouble and requires immediate medical attention that a midwife cannot provide with that birthing tub.
Barbara George - Annemae Love Collins yeah women had babies in huts and many women and babies died.
Josue Traverzo - I delivered all 3 of my boys at home. What an incredible experience.
Valerie Anne - If a woman has a low risk pregnancy and chooses to have a home birth, who is to say that she shouldn't if she wants to? If the labor is not progressing the way it should a good midwife will get her to the hospital right away. A good provider will assess the risk for a particular woman to give birth at home and if she doesn't meet the criteria they won't agree to it. A woman who wants VBAC is higher risk than say someone who has more than one baby already and had uneventful labor. Don't think that bad things can't happen in the hospital either, they can and do.
Sally Riley - No thanks! Give me a hospital and an epidural!
Molly Elizabeth Kiernan - Some women are great candidates for home births, or birth centers. Some are not. The decision to birth at home or in a center, rather than a hospital isn't like picking out what you're going to wear the next day. It's something a woman takes seriously and needs to do extensive research and interviewing (midwives etc). You can't generalize. Women have been birthing babies since the dawn of time, it's what we are made to do and it is absolutely possible to birth a baby naturally and safely without being in a hospital.
Jenny Merrell Allen - No no no that epidural felt wonderful after 12 hours of HELL
Maria Klein - A doctor in a hospital save not only my baby's life my mine also. Home birth would have killed both of us.
Matt Harris - Had we had our daughter at home she may have not made it ,she was stuck ! Thank god we were in the hospital .12 years later my amazing daughter is a straight A student ! Boom
Jessica Harvey - For those bashing, please do some actual research before deciding that someone else's birthing choices are dangerous.
Susan Lockard-Kingsley - Not for me. Please gimme the drugs. Lol
Mindy Dunham-Henkins - Personally I'd never give birth at home in case an emergency arised. But I know many women who have had wonderful home births.
Ann Calka Naylor - No they haven't been proven to be safer in hospitals. Just check out the statistics in other industrialized nations. We are not even in the top 20 for safety. These countries routinely use midwives and home birth.
Tracy Hale - More power to you, but I'd just as soon have someone else clean *that* up. #thatstainisnevercomingout
Jennifer Cameron Cogan - My son was born early and wasn't breathing! We made it to the hospital literally 5 minutes before he was born! I thank God every day we were in a hospital! They saved him! He had to be intubated. I would think long and hard before making the choice to not be where medical professionals are in case anything goes wrong, with the baby or you! It could be a life or death decision!
Teresa Loffer - Birthing at home would have killed my baby. There was no warning.
Iosif Constantin Liliac - How irresponsible.
Also, anti-vaccine people are disgustingly ignorant: they should be excluded from society because they put it at risk.
Andrew Ross Gordon - This is bad. Home births are statistically much more dangerous than those at a hospital.

Stephanie Hawkins - That's news?!? Who cares? Rich people lost money.. BOO FLIPPIN HOO!
Ty Aiken - Mystery solved...
Ty Aiken - This sounds awfully a lot like a skit from Chappelle's Show...
Ty Aiken - The cops do know Lamar Odom has gone on crack binges before, right? I mean, when stuff turns up missing you probably want to start your questions/investigation with the crackhead... may save a lot of wasted time here... just saying.
Wendy Miller - awwww poor them only 250,000??? must of been a stalker cuz a real robber would of stolen millons
Regine Mathurin Dessalines - really we have more important stuff to care about like Russia !!!
Linda Cash-Burles - Who gives a flying fu©k.
Timmy Johnson - This Lamar but with crack and he's telling the cops that his crack is sugar (the kind of sugar you put in food)
Charlie Trinqual-Carlson - He took that stuff to pay his drug dealer lol
Rodney Ray Shaving - That's ALOOOT of crack...
Anthony Aguilera - Reading the comments of the news on Facebook is more entertaining than the news itself
Phillip Ross - When my house got robbed it did not make it on the news. The police came over, did not even look around and just did a report and told me I would probably never see my stuff again and they will not do any follow up. If you are rich they probably send out 20 police officers and take fingerprints and interview witnesses.
Afshan Mustafa - how could she be with him? he's so ew
Patrick Goulbourne - Who's cares abt these rich spoiled brat we have more serious crimes to investigate here
Christian Keith - It went to his crack binge where'd u think it went?
Thomas Kiefer - Is there any way you could create a separate news feed or page for NBC tabloid news?
Bruce Briscoe - money in her change purse!
Scottie Toohottie - It's called crack
Ruben Jr Alejandro - He sold it for drugs,,,fact
Lori Shirai Paraz - he stole it to support his drug habit.
Francesco Papini - How can someone keep 250,000 $ inside home?? You don't have banks in California?

Lesley Lednicky - Pretty cool moment to see! Sometimes it nice to see something fun, rather than so negative and depressing!
Keena-kay Hollaway - Haha everyone says "who cares" but you all commented.. meaning you exposed more of your friend list to this post. Meaning you essentially "shared" it and gave it more exposure. Dumby!
Darryl Hayden II - Cant we just take a minute to laugh and smile? Does everything have to be so serious?
Alicia Sams - I care that's who. It's something nice and positive and makes you smile instead of about death and horror and brings one down.

NBC News: The standoff in Ukraine has created the greatest moment of tension between Russia and the West since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991Comments:
Brandin Cervantes Burress - Obama please sit this one out, we've got enough problems of our own.
Darryl Baker - Yeah, Russia didn't stop us from invading Iraq, and we didn't stop them from invading Georgia when Bush was president
Laura Menchaca - Putin would not have attempted this under Bush.
Sharon Carlton - Thanks Obama for opening your mouth. & putting your nose in someone else's business. Congratulations!
Bernie Miller - Why? I don't get it.. Why should we be pissed at any country when this is all our politicians know how to do is invade countries for money
Dave Hunter - Shut up and let's mind our own business for a change.
Greg Gallagher - Are they upset about a internet video like Benghazi?
Judd Sonafelt - Mitt Romney warned us of this during his campaign, and are King O-vomit and his followers laugh at him
Jimmy Petty - sounds like America - how many conflicts have WE created --
Bill Stowe - I think we should stay out of it cause our military has been thinned out courtesy of Obama
Thomas Therrell - Puton is being a PUNK!
Art Levine - Putin's Olympics were a cosmetic sham not portraying the Russian governing powers for who they really are...dictatorial enslavers of people.
Clinton Bierdeman - I see the talking heads bought by the military Industrial Complex are hitting the airwaves and are coming for our wallets.
Lance Bodily - You are fools Russia is not stabilizing anything they invaded and you are all idiots
Richard Jones - Don't worry the United States only attacks small countries that don't have a military big enough to fight back.
Henry Cusano - we have no business here let's take care of those in need in the U.S. first.
Bryce McFall - Let this alone, by getting involved you are only creating more problems for us wich is just what they want.
Daniel Frazão - WW III has begun...
Steven Stephen Wight - los rusos son bastardos imperialistas hay ke destruirlos armas nucleares
Brad Wegner - Now we know how they feel when we invade countries...
Gloria Sheldon - Dear Lord....hear my prayer!!!! No more WAR!
- Kerry Kennedy said on the Today Show Tuesday that people accusing her of banking on her family (Type: link | Published: 2014-03-03T14:15:17+0000 | Likes: 0 | Shares: 26)
NBC News: Kerry Kennedy said on the Today Show Tuesday that people accusing her of banking on her family name are "wrong" — and that her access to "competent counsel" helped her win her recent case in court. On Friday, a jury found Kennedy not guilty of a drugged drivingComments:
Yvonne Sullivan - The first thing said in opening argument was that she was the daughter of Robert Kennedy...
James Parsons - If I took an aspirin every day then by accident I took Oxycodone I would know the difference... She should have stopped driving as soon as she felt drugged... She knew and she didn't.... Guilty Daughter of Robert Kennedy...
Kadie Chandler - Exactly. If she wasn't "using the Kennedy name", why would they need to mention in court proceedings that she was Robert Kennedy's daughter?
Paul Cyopick - Not like any other Kennedy killed anyone while driving....oh wait.
Ed Wheeler - Money talks, lawyers. Lie. That's how she beat it. The 1% can afford the biggest and best ljars to represent them.
Sharon Curl Remmey - Another lying Kennedy. Her father and uncle Peter Lawford cover up the death of Marilyn Monroe, Ted Kennedy was a murderer, the Kennedy cousin was a murderer and all the Kennedy druggies who OD'd. Give us a break. She played on the family name for sympathy. They think people are stupid. The jury is the one that was stupid for falling for her lies.
William J Haugen - My thyroid pills and sleeping pills don't even looks alike, if I made that mistake good representation or not I'm not getting off.
Rebecca Winner - hey it could happen to anyone........thats not a recreational fun drug....she made a mistake!
Debbie Hellman - You may not like the Kennedy family, but this was the correct verdict.
Sandy Forman - those Kennedy's are the biggest drug, alcoholics on this planet stop giving them get out of jail free cards no one else gets those cards
Gina Calogero - oh puh leez..who are you kidding? There are thousands of people in jail for the same thing but they're not kennedys..If she had used a fake name and they thought she was Kerry brown she'd be guilty as sin....
Sharon Hunsucker - Kimberly E - I saw the interview, and you are mis-stating what she said. She said access to competent counsel WAS one of the three things that led to the correct verdict; the other two being that she was innocent of the charges and she was willing to take it to court. She said it is unfortunate in this country that too many innocent people are unable to afford an attorney or to go to court, and so are forced to accept a plea for something they didn't do. Of course she's aware that having money does help - not just for her but for anyone caught up in the legal system. She was making the point that the system needs to change - that ANYONE should be able to have competent counsel and to have a chance to prove their innocence in court regardless of their means.
Jolene Ehret - Wishing competent counsel for all people.
Jacqueline Reissent - let's be realistic... What should she have done, call herself Smith and get a public defender. She has money and she used it to stay out of jail, pretty much what anybody else would do.You can't be mad at people for having money, but you can be mad at a system that is biased towards the economically challenged.
David Hinkley - Whatever. She is a drunk/drugged driver regardless of the court findings. She can beat any case shy of capital murder being a Kennedy. It is a proven fact.
Steve Noyola - The verdict in this case MAY have been right but she totally used her family name to try and get out of the charge....which, by the way, was a MISDEMEANOR!!! What does her dad being Robert Kennedy have to do with whether she knowingly or mistakenly took a sleeping pill!!! GMAFB.
Lee Walker - you can buy the law... she did
Leo Valaunt - Not guilty??? But she was driving WHILE under the influence of drugs. She's a lying b*tch!
Cathy Swartz - You are so wrong. ...The Kennedys always get their way....money talks!!!
Kevin Harp - Well I know what to say for now on.
Claude Akley - Can an average joe the plumber use such a weak excuse and walk from a DUI? Probably not. She was clearly an impaired and unsafe driver! She could have killed somebody. Mistake or not! She is an adult and is responsible for taking the correct pill.

NBC News: About 1,000 same-sex couples were married in Utah before a court order halted any future marriages. Are same sex marriages in Utah still recognized? #30SecondsToKnow http://nbcnews.to/1emoITLComments:
Michael James Plezia - Our government, by its nature can not force people to live by any faith. Being American does not mean you follow the Bible, it means you have the right to decide how or whether you follow it
Kim Armstrong - Renee and Joseph, really? Like how all the ads plastered everywhere with straight people are shoved down OUR throats. I grew up seeing only straight people and seeing straight couples on TV and in movies. Hell, I STILL see it today. Why don't you stop shoving the heterosexual lifestyle down MY throat?!
Walter Kibet - God créated adam & eve no God did not created no adam & steve
Mary Bodane - Enough already, make it legal in all states, be done with it! So tired of it, Gays are here to stay so get over it, who are you to judge?
Rebecca Winner - leave these people alone.......we love who we love
Simmy Taub - Using your god to justify bigotry only makes your god a bigot too.
Brantley LaCombe - Wow... The comments keep getting dumber and dumber. How about this: if you want to live in a country ruled by religion, go to where it all started, Isreal! You people are forgetting why the early settlers came to this country in the first place- it was to escape the ever growing church in Europe!
Bryan Griffin - I really love how people that this has zero to do with have such strong opinions. If I'm not invited to a heterosexual wedding and will never meet those people, how can that affect my life? If you don't like gay marriage don't have one. If you don't like gay people go hang out with heterosexual people. I assure you, no one will miss you.
Dave Adams - What the hell does my marriage have to do with you or your church. I refuse to be treated as a second class citizen by the Mormon, Catholic or Baptist churches. Don't quote your bible or Mormon scriptures as a reason why I am second class I don't buy it for a second. Get over it
Brandi Nash Hicks - I have been married 18 years to my husband and I am straight ,but I would risk it all to punch some of you small minded bigot's in the face for your stupidity .i hope each one of you have a child that tell's you one day that they are gay, that way it would eat you all up inside.
Erik Poulsen - Gays getting married??? What's next? Dog and cats living together!!!! OMG! The apocalypse is coming!!!!!
Bryan Plagge - They should be recognized. Marriage is a civil right.
Melissa Mashike - Eventually it will pass everywhere, just like the civil rights movement. People got over it and moved on. Yes we still have those sad racist people just like we'll still have those sad homophobic people, but that's life. You'll just have to get over it eventually. Might as well start now! What we do doesn't affect you one bit.
Mominur Rahman - Marriage is a bond of two person.
Melinda Weinzierl Schmidt - I am really getting sick of hearing about this crap. I think I am joined with a lot of people. ....I would prefer not to see this on the news. It is such a small portion of the population of they want news on it send them an e -mail.
Jeremy Potvin - A better question would be "What right does the state have in determining who we marry?"
Rehman Soni - Its against the law of nature
Lindsay Dawn Heim - Geeezzzz leave them alone already!! Just let it happen. Hell if people can get married for money or status and not love why not them? I think Larry King is on marriage number 7 Brittny Spears had a what 55 hour marriage... so did that Kardashian chick she had something close? The bible states it's really not into divorce. I didn't see you anti-gay marriage people upset about any of that. Why are you not outside the Vegas wedding chapels stopping drunks from getting married in a drive through? If it's against your religion that's your business but some gays are not Christian. It's very un-Christian of you to judge them when you have your own sins to contend with. I honestly think the word "marriage" since it's being viewed at a religion thing should be stricken from the record. The idea of the separation of church and state suggests that. ALL marriages should be on the books as "Civil Unions" Your place of worship can call it what it will
Bryan Griffin - If someone doesn't want to bake me a cake I don't care, I'll find someone who will.
Bryan Griffin - Your religious intolerance is not a right. You telling other Americans that they can't live their lives the way they want to is violating their rights, Elizabeth Walsh.
Bryan Griffin - No ones denying your rights. Because your rights haven't been stripped from you
- Some 45 percent of mothers and 42 percent of fathers of 13-year-olds reported using harsh verba (Type: link | Published: 2014-03-03T15:28:11+0000 | Likes: 0 | Shares: 509)
NBC News: Some 45 percent of mothers and 42 percent of fathers of 13-year-olds reported using harsh verbal discipline toward their child in the past year, but the study found this only increased the teens’ conduct problems and symptoms of depression.Comments:
Timothy Prince - nothing can take the place of spanking.Lol.
its a proven therapy, and I am a living proof
Candi Pollitt - Who takes these F'n polls???
Michael Franke - Why don't you all just come out with what you all really would like to see NO DISCIPLINE, LET YOUR CHILD WALK ALL OVER YOU... Seriously, when need be, spank your child, get mad at them and be stern and make sure they know who runs the household. AND FINALLY, SHOW & GIVE THEM LOTS OF LOVE. They will love & respect you much more.
Melinda Parks - Parents, it's time to face the facts. You are no longer allowed to discipline your children in any way, shape or form. You cannot make your child feel bad about something they did wrong. You cannot raise your voice or make your child feel inadequate. You can't speak ill of a bad grade or a bad decision they made. Your parenting is done when the child begins to speak because they now know everything. They do not need guidance from you, they will learn all they need to know from their friends and maybe a teacher here and there. How dare you try to raise your children with dignity, integrity and respect. What do parents know, anyway, right? All of this coddling is preparing them for the real world, where no one gets upset with anyone, no one makes mistakes and everyone wins. And, if your child suffers depression in the future, remember, it's your fault simply by virtue of HAVING said child to begin with.
Nikki Shipley - Yelling is all we have left. We can't punish, we can't be their best friend. Parenting is very hard now. Everybody judges everything and parents feel very isolated with what they can do with their kids. Nothing is right anymore.
Sheena Foreman - Every child is different. What works for your kids, won't neccessarily work for mine. I have 3 kids, I may have to yell at one, spank another, or just give a nasty look at another. There is no one size fits all way to discipline and getting tired of these so called experts on trying to push their agenda
Cindy Conant-Ellis - geez don't yell or spank them...might upset them... no wonder so many kids and teens think they can do what they want when ever they want and get away with it..
Kelly Davis - The media is the last place I look for parenting advice.
Marci Anderson Keith - This is ridiculous! I spanked my kids when they were young, I yelled at them when they were teens and they are some of the most respectful, well adjusted, young adults around... and I'm not just bias, others tell me this about them..... the "feel good" type of parenting going on these days is why this generation are some of the most disrspectful kids in history.....
Everette Morgan - Soon timeouts will be considered damaging to a child's self-esteem!
Margaret Leary - By all means, let's just raise a group of kids who have no concept of being punished for their wrongdoing. I guess we can just build more prisons to house them when they become adults.
Matthew Dejesus - There's a difference between physical/verbal discipline and physical/verbal abuse. I support discipline!
Brian J Bond - I didn't grow-up in an era where my parents used harsh verbal discipline... I just got my azz whooped. I had no conduct problems and symptoms of depression but I did learn respect. Some parents need to give it a try.
Sabrina Morris - Honestly tho you have such things as add....odd...adhd etc...parenting without meds is possible...teaching without meds ? Lol...don't ask teachers....I'm a parent, grand parent, teacher & outreach counselor...all those"diseases" i mentioned are a cop out for lazy parents, lazy teachers & a crutch for these kids to get by with being trouble...you give birth you get immediate respect! They are to earn your respect...miss do gooder up there how many times you been told your child bullied another etc but you say "not my angel" step up for your kids when they are in the right...step down on them when they are in the wrong...these kids must learn there are consequences for every action good or bad! Spank (without weapon)...stern voice (without degrading)....consistant (no matter what others think)...most of these kids are doing so much more that you don't know about don't matter your social or financial status...your children are all capable of doing anything...think before you react...react accordingly and make your point understood....
Duke Taylor - Yelling? umm. that's what's wrong. More azz whoopins are needed.
Michael Eates - since when is scolding your child supposed to result in a warm n' fuzzy feeling???? when I was a boy, I was yelled out and even spanked when I misbehaved... guess what... I BEHAVED! I'm in my mid 40's - I haven't killed anyone, I'm not suffering from depression, no criminal record, no anger issues, drinking or drug problems - I'm actually (heaven forbid I WAS interviewed in this study) a productive member of society with a great F.T. job, healthy hobbies, and 3 kids who love me to no end! Here's something I bet your study ignored, the number of kids 18 to 25 who have screwed up their lives and WISH they had parents that were harsher on them, instead of being lovey dovey bestie buds. I've met WELL more than a few of them... their OWN words: 'I wish my parents harder on me'....... but I guess you just call those results "outliers"....
Leigh Anne Melton Gilmer - I'll parent my way....
You parent yours....
And we'll stay out of each others business!
Kimmi Jae - Kids are becoming weak and can't handle disappointment or a harsh word. . They haven't any moral compass because they dont have consequences. . When my mom yelled my name. .my reaction was oh sh*t...I knew to straighten up or I was going to get it! ... now they just shootup the place and disrespect everyone.
Khristy Mae Lovan - I spanked and yelled at all 3 of my children. All 3 of them are in their 20's, in college, have jobs, don't live with me, and not on any medication!!!!
Marc Minami - Can't spank them cause they'll sue... Now we can't yell either? What ARE we supposed to do?
Merlinda Ancira-Chavarria - Nothing a good spanking won't fix!
