NBC News: "For the United States and Western Europe, this is a very significant threat –- probably as significant and complex a threat as we have faced since 9/11."Comments:
Ruth Ferguson - It is a general decline in societies that's at the root of it. Just look at the posts right here or on any news site and see how full of hate much of our citizens have for our leaders and each other. Look how divided we are. "United We Stand, Divided We Fall" and we will. We as a nation (not any one party) are our own undoing.
Latifah Abdul'laah - And here comes the fear mongering to make you Americans dance to the tune of the corporate war mongers...Haliburton and Dick Cheney...dance you silly little monkeys, dance so that the corporations can make some more money.
Michael Connor - Yes, bang the 9/11 drum...that'll get the sheeple all agitated. NBC is instigating war
Laura Massey - Is dick cheney feeding info now to nbc.
Paul Smith - Please remember who helped create this bloody mess if sadam was still in charge the midle east would be a whole lot more stable all the lies about wepons of mass destruction all false to control oil bush ..blair world destroyers yong people sent to die for what .?
Shaun Watson - to be terribly truthful it was 9/11 that started this chain of events
Micheletto Attentatore - Detroit Livonia is more dangerous than ISIS and Iraq.
Esoj Ocsalev - NBC beating the war drums.
Daniel Salgado - Be afraid be very afraid lol. No more blood for oil we have the technology to move away from fossil fuel let's put it to use. Don't let the media who are own by the big corporation scare you into supporting another invasion into the Middle East. What has 12years of spilling American blood and ruining our economy gotten us.
Jorge Herrera - and the republicans would rather oppose obama than unite the country
Kevin Jackaman - we do not need another Vietnam, pull everyone out and leave them to sort the sect stuff out on their own simple as that Bush jumped in and dragged everyone it to it to protect the oil. That is all it is about again OIL.
Jason Plebanski - This is how to do it without ground forces!!!!!
Jean Booth - Uh huh. The War mongers weren't getting rich enough since the war was winding down
Sharon Brothers - Where have we heard this before? Go to hell, Dick Cheney.
Christina Pilkinton - There are reports that 911 was in inside job from our government. Now our government helps the enemy....again. I will fear no man
Paul Michaelson - NBC you are deplorable, Bringing up the 9/11 tragedy. Its like war cry for pathetic News outlets desperate for clicks and web traffic. The term 9/11 has become little more then a buzz word for news outlets to gain popularity and control Americas opinion. But NBC what do you care hu? What do you care. Im sure you got your Starbucks this morning.
Peter Rommel - This article TALKS about the THREAT to the US---but never actually says what the threat IS??? I'm assuming the threat is one that we are making up AGAIN. What good have we done in over 30 years of sticking our imperial nose where it doesn't belong (in the Middle East)...while our own people are starving. STOP THE ENDLESS WAR MACHINE!
Marie Lawson - And now they have all these arms supplied by us and millions of dollars we had sent for aid that the corrupt government had kept stowed away in a bank vault. We are our own worst enemy.
David Elias - Why did we never here of this group before 3 months ago ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Mark Tremblay - THIS isn't "complicated" 😉😁
Juan Carlos Ayala - Send the drones.

NBC News: "I thought it was the biggest bunch of bull I ever heard in my life."Comments:
Karen Bunn - My Dad and Granddad were both plumbers. They used dowsing rods to find pipe lines. Worked every time.
Denise MacColeman - It worked for us in Illinois in 1977. Found water the first time.
Alex Moreno - The statement in the article is correct, there is no "scientific" basis for dowsing. That's because it comes from the spiritual side of man that many people would like to deny exists. Happen to know a dowser. He can find water on someone's property, tell them which direction it's flowing and the rate per minute.
Arbutus Dunn - I saw this work, I was a nay sayer, the dowser gave the green twig to my four year old and walked him around the area. When he got to the same area the twig turned down. My son is in his 60 and can still find water.
Che Cotton - my great grandfather was a dowser. he found many places for people to dig their wells.
Dona Males Becchelli - My Husband has done it successfully several times.
Sandi Tompkins - It works, my Dad used to do it.
Devora Wharton - That is What's in maine that's how people find wells and they been livin on their property 50 + years
Joanne Schwartz- Wilson - We used water witching on our property and our well has been going strong for over 20 years. Neighbors well went dry and they borrowed our water witching pipes and they're all set with a new well. Yes it works.
Shana Douglas Poisel - My dad is an amateur radio operator, but uses dowsing to locate pipes and plumbing so he can dig and lay wires to his antennas. Works every time. I feel some people are just more in tune with water. After all our bodies are electromagnetic and have capabilities that many have allowed to be dampened by "technology".
Kelley Perine - If CA doesn't pay the government its extortion money they wont ever get any water. Weather is being manipulated by scientists and the highest bidder wins.
Pat Matthews - There is an entire Pacific ocean at there door step, all they need to do is build desalination plants water problem solved also incorporate power plants to generate electricity another problem solved.
Pat Ostrander - I bought a house in the country, knew there had to be springs and someone I worked with suggested usingin a we call it water witch and sure enouph the guy found an artesian spring , so thrilled with hom.
Kandace York - Yeah, it sounds crazy until you see it work. About 15 years ago we needed to find underground lines from our circa-1900 well that ran to an old barn. They called in an old guy with divining rods. It took him about five minutes.
Chuck McCarty - I have watched it work. Amazing!!!!
Robert Goodman - Like gravity, it works. If it works, don't fix it. Sometimes the "why" is not as important.
Donna Corbino - It has worked for centuries, they have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Just do it!
Linda Gagnon - My Dad could do it and so can I. I use it more often for finding underground pipes. I don't believe it can be taught. You either have it or you don't.
Leslyn Davie Weathers - This is how the site for the well at our childhood home was established back in the late '60s. That well served for almost 30 years until city water was available. This home became The Davie-Carraway House in Birmingham Al.
Jean McCloy - We had a friend do this and he found water. The water well supports three households.
Eddie Ristau - California was never meant to be as populated as it has for a few decades, at one time there was ample sources of water, but when the population outgrows into places where water is harder to come by, then top it off with a drought, things get shaky

NBC News: “Our motto is no shame, no blame, no name. I’ve never seen government work so efficiently.”Comments:
B'Neen Highheeldiva - I wish the father had dropped his baby off at a safe haven rather than leaving him in a hot car to die.
Matt Crane - Pathetic for someone to "abandon" their child and not have any guilt whatsoever...
Crystal Hamilton-Ocang - Now if only we could save the 1.2 million babies killed each year in the U.S. by abortion. So strange how people are horrified when a mother kills or abandons a newborn but if she had killed the child a few weeks before birth they would promote it as "choice," "reproductive freedom," or "healthcare." Open your eyes, people, it's ALL THE SAME!"
Vicki Christian Weyrough - This is where the Pro Life people need to up their game. Make a safe, legal place where babies can be placed and fewer women would feel trapped and could make good choices.
Sarah Clark - Men just need to keep in there pants it goes to ways
Mirielle Caamano - Stop putting a judgment on abortion, you know nothing about who gets them and why, not to mention it's also NOT your body. I don't particularly like tattoo sleeves, or Marilyn piercings or death metal, you don't see me bashing people who do. Learn to be a little tolerant of people, and don't assume that because you don't get abortions you're somehow "above that". I also think we can talk about birth control until we're blue in the face, it doesn't change the fact that people are irresponsible sometimes, there's a lot of ignorance, and horny teens will be teens. The article clearly stated it was the upper class rich girls who were more likely to abandon their babies, kinda tells you who's more responsible in the grand scheme of things. What kind of education are they receiving, I wonder? Let ppl be.
Jane Ochsenbein - Sad that so many children are given away because the mother has no means of sopport. Birth control needs to be free & widely available. Young pregnant women need healthcare, housing, food and education to be able to keep and care for their child. We can send billions to fight a war for corporate profits, but people freak out when it comes to helping their neighbors. Easier to shame & attack a pregnant woman than help them Greedy One Percent in action! Pro life, until they're born, then a waste of resources once they are. Our society is so sick
Scotti Zambrano - how about an abortion clinic and all the protestors can adopt, and put their money where their mouths are?
Jennifer Hammes Logan - Here's a question for the folks who are dead set against this:
It's harder to drop a dog off at the pound than it will be to drop your infant off and wash your hands of it.
Do you really want someone with this level of dedication to actually continue to raise the child?
This isn't actually a service provided for the benefit of the woman. It's a service provided for the benefit of the child.
Because it's already here. And the person tasked with raising it likens it to a used paper coffee cup.
All the discussion about what should have happened, what should be allowed to happen and what should be outlawed is completely beside the point.
She didn't keep her legs closed, he didn't keep his pants up, there was either no birth control or ineffective birth control, and there was no abortion.
So here we all are. And somebody needs to take care of the baby.
Instead of bickering about all of the useless shoulda coulda woulda, do something.
Tracy Harper Kessinger - So many comments that show love, compassion, and empathy. While others are full of judgement and hate.. Anything that brings a baby to a loving family gets my vote...
Ginger Vermooten - Giving up a child can be a gift in many ways: life for the child; chance of a better life growing up; and a gift of great joy to the adoptive family.
Michele Moser Smith - Stop having kids you can't afford huh. That must be a man talking to women. Here's one for the men - if you're so worried about it stop having sex with women you aren't married to.
Jeremy Spradlin - So a woman can abandon a newborn with no responsibility, but if a man doesn't want a child the gov't can force him to pay child support. Double standard....just sayin. If you can do the deed to get prego, then all parties are responsible for taking care of the child. Chaffin
Kelly Morris Samons - This will happen more and more until we recognize that you can't be against sex education, birth control, abortion, and welfare. You have to give on one of them. Human nature dictates that people will make mistakes. How we choose to deal with that mistake is another story.
SophiaMalia AndMe - Results of lack of education and poverty sprinkled with a little stupidity. .
Karen Berman - how about women stop getting themselves pregnant. How about men start stepping up to the plate. How about we start holding people accountable for their actions. Oh no, it's just easier to kill or abandon a kid.
Eric Flynn - Why should women be given a chance to be released of the responsibility of a child when men are not?
Betsy Bacigalupo LaTour - It's also just not the girl/women's fault birth control is for both and it takes two to tangle- where are the birth fathers in this?
Ginger Vermooten - Great article. The programs need much more publicity.
Jody Ditmars - My concern to this whole issue is: WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR AMERICANS TO ADOPT ALL THESE BABIES IN THE FIRST PLACE? WHY ARE THEY ADOPTING FOREIGN BABIES....IS IT EASIER AND/OR CHEAPER? There are so many woman/couples that want kids and can't have them but the adoption agencies say they can't adopt or it is too expensive for them!! Someone is making money off of these abandoned babies!!! Or they are just left in foster care unloved their entire life!!! They are here in this world and they did not chose to be here.....are we not compassionate enough to step up to bat!!! STAY ON TOPIC PEOPLE!!!
Seletta Hamilton - I am Pro-life but I am also Pro-common sense which means I am Pro-Choice as well! The world isn't perfect and no one on this thread is perfect either! We came here perfectly imperfect. I think the miracle of life is a blessing. I know as a therapist and as a caring individual that I should not demonize a woman's choice either. Despite what most people believe, abortions are predominantly done by women who grew up middle class with good morals. The poor are often too poor to pay for abortions. Kudos to all of the Safe Havens! More promotion needs to occur regarding Safe Havens. As far as women who are contemplating abortion need education, I strongly believe all the morally clean and the perfect people of the world need to be educated on Safe Havens! Just a few of my thoughts.

NBC News: "I think I’m just really mentally ill," a teen accused of plotting to murder his family and blow up his high school told police. "No one’s noticed, and I’ve been trying to hide it.”Comments:
R.s. Rosenquist - One of the reasons why teenagers hide mental illness? A cultural stigma caused by media headlines such as this one which are implying that mentally ill teenagers are more than likely plotting murders.
Daniel Polonis - Every teen goes through a phase of hating parents and school....you get over it. But I think the media saturation of these incidents emboldens some of these troubled teens to act out knowing they will get national attention
Noel Soto Roman - Mentally ill lol. A mentally ill person will not recognize his/hers mental illness.
Noel Soto Roman - And like one said. Look at that picture. Spoiled as brat. If he was black he will be convicted by the public. Pure nonsense
Karen Osborne - Yes, you can absolutely recognize your own mental illness, not sure where some of you got your psychology degrees.....
Rob Bateman - This picture is crazy!!!! Something from a horror film
Vickie Helpingstine - Think I'll stay out of this conversation!! Half the worlds mental & no one wants to touch the topic
Holly Duke - An some people don't realize what its like to live with someone who has a Mental Illness!!!!! I have 14yr old boy with Bi polar an everyday is a struggle , he takes meds , takes classes an does therapy!!! Not full proof. So shouldn't judge people !!!! Don't judge until u actually go through this yourself. Then u might understand.
Nneka Walker - Some hide it, b/c their parents don't believe in psychiatric treatment. Parents need to start getting their kids the help they need and stop ignoring the signs. There's nothing wrong with being on meds or seeing psychologists.
Nacho Bizness - A truly mentally ill person will not recognize nor admit they're mentally ill.
Pete Thomas - If my parent's made me take a picture as a teenager with them both kissing each side of my face....I may have been driven into mental illness also
John Greene - Colorful language aside, there are no "demons inside." It might help to stop using those types of words and talk about illness, instead.
Andy Parr - Being able to hide mental illness is news to you people??? We're ashamed of what we have because we wind up stigmatized for it and badged as "crazy" or "nuts". People use the term bipolar as a negative thing. "Ew I heard Jake is bipolar" "ew I heard jake has diabetes" It's a chronic illness like any other. Stop treating it like it's voodoo and people won't hide it and will seek help.
Emily Cole - Yeah he's crazy alright. he is trying to make excuses for himself. If he can recognize his crazy then he is not mental!
Michelle Rayman - Adults can too. Our system is broken. If we want to prevent mass tragedies, we need to be holding mentally ill longer than 72 hours and we need to create more mental health hospitals to house individuals who are dangerous to society.
Michelle Carnahan-Albrecht - I think pleaing mental illness is just a ploy. As a parent, I would definitely know if my child was having mental issues.
Dana Badu - No you're a THUG who now wants to claim mental illness to avoid the punishment you deserve
Karen Stevens Campbell - I have hidden my "major depression" most of my life. Most people thought I was bubbly and happy. Stress was eating me up....then came anger and I lashed out .........never violent but verbally combative. Depression is easy to hide.
Tara Dobbs - My exhusband hid his mental illness. It took me a few years to finally figure it out through research. After he abused me physically just once I divorced him. Then the following week after the divorce was final, I called his biological father. He told me everything. Then I called his half sister and she told me EVERYTHING, things that I should have been told. What makes mental illness so much more dangerous is the conscious notion that that person takes advantage of what they feel and know inside themselves against others. We are all animals by nature of our actions and still mammals anyway you look at it. We all have preditors of our own kind. A preditor will hide who they really are to get what they want. There are more 'wolves' out there that are more dangerous than we realize. If I had not gotten out of the abusive marriage and if my ex's mental illness got worse, which it still would have been since he never took meds, there is no telling what could have happened to me. Educating myself is what saved my life and future. Also, my brother has schizophrinia, but takes medication. When he's off his meds he is very unstable. Never under estimate the power of a conscious mentally ill person to stop or decide to not take meds. We are all dangerous in some manner, but mental illness makes it a thousand times worse.
Sherri Ratcliffe Gibson - There are so many comments to this article that are clueless. So many people have no clue about mental illness. Please people, you can't just get over it or go to boot camp & have it cured
Noel Soto Roman - The irony in this that you all are calling me an expert ? How about y'all ? after the fact that he was arrested and suddenly he made a conclusion and diagnosed himself with a mental condition ? A pure simple excuse for this person
- These numbers come after Hillary Clinton declared that she and her husband were “dead broke (Type: link | Published: 2014-06-29T13:10:09+0000 | Likes: 0 | Shares: 374)
NBC News: These numbers come after Hillary Clinton declared that she and her husband were “dead broke” after leaving the White House.Comments:
Matt McCay - I find every politician is out of touch these days. Biased, financially irresponsible, and oftentimes immoral.
Sandie Schlett - Lol can't live on hundreds of thousands per year. Don't think most Americans can relate to that. Ridiculous!
Steafan Dubhuidhe - Most Americans are idiots.
Sandie Schlett - A woman as president would be great. We just need one that is smart and not unethical. Just like last two elections so many voted for Obama just because he was black (not that he would make a good president), I'm afraid Hillary may get voted in just because she is a woman -not that she would make a good president. Our country is going downhill. Very sad.
Quinna Ugetsnoneadis - Lol Broke means diffrent things, to diffrent People, thats all im saying
Vinnie Torres - 200$ million aint dead broke.
Callie Lutz - She's not even human. How can she relate ? She has no heart
Darren Spicer - Who is "most?" Who are these people?
Cynthia Davis-Lubas - NBC Liberal propaganda lol!
Wendell Johnson - Says their 15 million dollar home in the hamptons
Elizabeth Denise - 55% of Americans are ready for Hillary.
Jennifer Martinez - Nice try NBC, haven't you done enough lying for the current administration?
James Tinsley - Who wrote this? Chelsea Clinton who's a rent-a-journalist once a month for NBC at $600k /year?! The liberal bias coverage and skewed to the left is so obvious and clear. NBC, your ratings suck like CNN.
Conrad Joseph - Rightttttttttt....because I should believe a liberal news source supporting a liberal candidate...seems legit.
Thomas G. Kitchen - sure she can relate....BS!! Hasn't driven a car in 26 years. Ever thought about letting her chauffeur go and driving a used Pinto daily like average Americans. Read the facts about how she treats and 'foul-mouths' everyone around her. Is that 'average-America'? She is a FAKE!!
Shawn Snyder - these "polls" are a load of bs.
James Zuniga - Tells you how completely out if touch most americans are. Sheep waiting for someone to promise something as a treat for their vote.
Jami Schiavo - OMG how stupid do you really think American people are
Bob Davy - Now there is the major problem with our country--- 55% are stupid.
Ty Aiken - Donald Trump kinda "dead broke" or MC Hammer "dead broke"?
Andrea Blaustein - Seems Americans are as gullible to left wing nonsense as many Canadians. IF they were broke, it is due to reckless spending and a lavish lifestyle. Broke is a relative thing. I know someone who is broke if she can't go for her weekly manicure....I can't go for an annual manicure...do it myself because that is what is in my budget. Broke is wondering if you will be able to keep the roof over your head and put gas in the car.
- The child's mother may have also researched hot car deaths.
Cautious parenting or a red flag? (Type: link | Published: 2014-06-29T14:56:54+0000 | Likes: 0 | Shares: 855)
NBC News: The child's mother may have also researched hot car deaths. Cautious parenting or a red flag?Comments:
Brandi Jo Vorse - Ive been a mom for 16 years and have never researched that. Just plain knew better. Id say red flag.
Tracie Cinquegrana Warren - I believe its more the mother than the father, but both had a hand in it, obviously. How does a mother NOT shed a tear at their only child's funeral?
Jen Johnson - Hey NBC: Why don't you stop posting this happy, sweet picture of this monster with his baby?
Jules L Romano - Red flag to me. Plus, given the fact she seems to say she has no anger towards the husband. What good mother wouldn't have some anger, even if it is her husband.
Diane Fazzari-Donigan - Do you really need to research how hot it has to be to be deadly??? OMG...lame excuse..you never ever leave a child in a car, no matter what the temperature is..
Lynn Brown - Who in the hell researches that??? What parent would leave a child in ANY car for ANY minutes????!!!!
Cynthia McGarvie - I see a Law and Order episode in the making here.
Joan A. McCauley Murphy - red flag ... if you are a parent, you would not leave a child for any amount of time so such 'research' would not be necessary ....
Valerie Misch - I'm amazed that in seven hours... SEVEN HOURS... this man didn't, not one time, have his son cross his mind. "How's he doing in daycare" "Only a couple of hours till I pick him up", etc, etc, etc... and have him realize, "OH, CRAP, I left him in the car!!!!!!" Not even when he went out to the car to allegedly 'put something in it'??? He didn't notice the car seat and be reminded that his SON was sitting in it????!!! Sorry, this whole thing doesn't pass the smell test... They both need to be sterilized, so they NEVER produce another precious child...
Taffy O'Daniel Molock - Why why why would a parent NEED to research this topic? Wierd!! Raised 3 kids & this was NEVER a thought in my head. Would never "forget" my kids. CAUTIOUS PARENTING? WHAT??? There's just some things a normal person just knows. Hot cars will kill anything, fires destroy, unsupervised kids is dangerous, guns in the wrong hands lead to disaster. Come on?? How about~ COMMON SENSE! I'm not buying this "story" not at all. And to make out worse AFTER THEY studied this~ he went & did it! DID exactly what they had just read not to do. Wow! And there are comments on here saying innocent until proven guilty? Come on~ this GOES BACK TO THE COMMEN SENSE thing.
Jason Eric Lowery - Drive both of them out to Death Valley and leave them in the same car
Barb Nance - Why would you even need to research the topic. Just don't leave your kid/kids in the car, simple. Definitely a red flag!
Rebecca Gladden Shapard - Enough is enough with this "forgetting" babies in cars to die.. I wonder how many have died in a sweltering car and the the parent got off because it was an "accident". We don't "forget" our children! People who are careless, or intentional murderers "forget" their children to die in cars. How many more babies are going to suffer because it's an easy excuse to get away with?? I say they start a "Cooper's Law" and put an end to this. Mandatory murder charge for anyone who leaves a child in a car resulting in death.
Teresa Avalos - A woman who says that love her husband after he murdered his child, is NOT a Mother, sadly for many women the love for a man is stronger than the love for her child. To add You Don't need to check on Internet how long you can leave your child inside a car on a hot weather. You DON'T Leave it At All PERIOD
Kadie Chandler - If I do a search on how to burn a house down, and then I'm suddenly around when a house burns down, I'm guilty as crap. This guy and his wife are researching how long it takes a kid to die in a hot car, their kid dies in a hot car, and people are actually defending this as an accident?? Seriously?? Smh.
Shellee Rice Moore - For someone to be so worried about leaving the child in a car that it leads them to research it, one would think that they would check the back seat even when the child wasn't with them.
Jessica Schleede - They planned this together!
Jennifer Ann - It just seems like if you spent this much time researching it, it would be fresh on your mind and you wouldn't accidentally do it.
Jennifer Blair - Any living thing, shouldn't be left in a hot car, you wouldn't leave your groceries in a hot car, why/how in the hell, do you forget your child, which should be #1 priority..!!
Jannetta Mosby - I have no idea what happened, but I will say that I can't tell you how many times I've done searches on things that were on the news a lot. Like leaving kids in the car, dogs in the car, mass shootings, bombs, etc. None of those searches were done because I was devising a plan.
Patty Howard - Uhm...responsible parents don't leave their child/children in the car, regardless of the temps. To research it in advance shows it was at least considered a possibility...maybe as a way to avoid paying daycare costs. Check their finances.

NBC News: "This is imperial power. This is (King) George III. This is some monarch to say I am the law."Comments:
Veronica Rodrigues-Lima - Obama, even on his bad days, is nothing near the disaster Bush-Cheney were.
Gene Knorr - Rove has the IQ of a snail.
Slayde Warren - Considering his boss signed more executive orders that Obama has signed, was he working for an Imperialist, also?
Walter G. Kloepfer - Interesting that when Republican Presidents use executive powers that is okay, but when a Democrat does the same thing, it is terrible. Maybe some of those who cast stones shouldn't live in glass houses!
Greg Orsi - "He's also black," whispered Rove under his breath.
Jason Varney - Rove is so full of it.
Jenny Hamilton - This coming from Bushes "brain" who had more executive orders than #BarakObama at the same point in his presidency.
Tony Palmer - If the GOP in the House would do their job the President wouldn't have to use executive powers
Charles A Read - Carl Rove the last time I saw you on Faux News was election night 2012....glad to see you have not recovered.....
Carol Pierleoni - How soon we forget the bush era.....people are such idiots...
Matt Cooper - 111 less than Bush Jr for now.
Bob Bock - And Rove isn't in jail, why?
Lisa Barrett - So THAT'S what a pot looks like.
Veronica Rodrigues-Lima - Just because it's not HIS boss lying to America, he has a problem with it.
Malissa Manney - Really...why are Obama's EO's so much more imperialistic than all the other presidents....especially since he's had the fewest EO's of every president in over 100 years. O.O http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/data/orders.php
Greg Mullally - Rove also said Romney was going to carry Ohio.
Ashley Cox - I call Congresses inaction treasonous and shameful. They put the President in this situation. What, 6 years, now of trying to get them to work with him instead of against him. They all need to lose their jobs American voters!!
Deanna Greear Sergel - President Obama has had to resort to using executive power to get some work done thanks to John Boehner & his cronies. I applaud the President! :)
Sue Haskins - Funny how Obama s being taken to task when he has signed LESS executive orders than any president since 1900s.
Tina McCulloch - Ironically, President Obama has shown restraint compared to Bush regarding the number and scope of Executive Orders and signing statements. Nothing President Obama did at any time in his presidency comes close to the Bush Administration’s use of the Unitary Executive Doctrine to usurp both Congress and the Supreme Court.
Jeremy Young - What utter hypocrisy on the part of Rove. I guess he thinks 300+ million Americans had a lobotomy after Bush left office.

NBC News: Remember Syria's chemical weapons? We're finally destroying them.Comments:
Michael Olivares - So we got Syria to destroy their wmd without dropping bombs and killing people, or without invading their country with thousands of troops. Sounds like Obama deserves some credit for this.
Jude McGloin - What their not telling you is about the WMD they found relabeled. They checked chemical composition...it was originally from Iraq. Duh.....
Shelly Ehmen-Quinn - Are these the WMD's George Bush and the UN And Clinton said were in Iraq? You know the ones only George Bush lied about? (Sarcasm intended)
T Fuggedaboutit Soprano - Do you really believe Syria ( backed by Russia and Iran ) have given up all their chemical weapons ? C'mon man - you can't be that naive.
Rob Volence - We sold them ...just like we built al Qaeda.. You know the ones that blew up those buildings hint hint
Harvey Lang Sr. - So, so when are going to destroy ours, just asking.
Brian Brixon - When will the U.S. destroy their own Bio/Chem weapons? If other countries can't have them, why can we?
Nathan Bratsko - put it into our collection? lol
Tunder Boomer - Correction, it's "Saddam's" WMD's
Nora Abu-khaider - well...i think it isnt fair ...i think ALL chemical weapons should be destroyed...all the lies the media reports-biases to let stupid people support the politicians crimes...the whole point of these weapons are to kill people and control the population the government isnt able to handle anymore
Don Perricone - lol they were probably Saddams weapons first
Thomas Thompson - Can't the Syrian president still use Chlorine gas even though it's prohibited under the chemical weapons ban it's not categorized as a chemical weapon?
Melvin LovestheBroncos Yoder - You mean the ones from Iraq?
Maxime Villeneuve - Would like to see us destroy our stockpile as well
Leigh Anne Thrift - How sad you republican trolls are. Bush lied, we shouldn't have gone to Iraq, there were no WMDs in Iraq and these ARE NOT ones that Saddam secretly shipped across the border. Grow up and get with reality
Bosley Crowther - US invaded Iraq illegally, so who gave US the right to pass judgement on other nations?
Judah Maddry - Same chemical weapons Reagan sold to Iran and Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war, I wonder?
Michael Ward - And how and where do you think Syria's WMDs cane from? Remember all those months Bush kept screwing around trying to get the UN's "blessing" to invade Iraq over WMDs? Yup, they were heading into Syria in mile long convoys. He finally invades and voila, no WMDs!
Paul Alexander - they came from Irag,
Rob Volence - Send them.ups to Barry's house can't miss it big white indulgence of wealth with a lying black man behind the door
Karen A King - How did they get it in the first place.the good ones will prevail.

NBC News: "Pride Weekend" is being celebrated both in the U.S. and several other nations.Comments:
Teresa Fitzgerald Leerar - When do the straight people get to celebrate their straightness??? I am straight and married to a man and I am proud!!
Gene Richards - Is there a national straight pride day ?..no...then there shouldn't be a gay pride day, it's discrimination.
Terry Donohue - Straight, Caucasian, Christian pride right here.
Jonathan Tautic - It's great to see all of the places starting to open their mind's and be more accepting of those around us.
Gina M. Bricka - Again, tired of this being shoved down people's throats.
I guess I should just accept the fact that most people would rather settle for 2nd best.......
My personal opinion. and I don't really care if anyone likes it or not.
Piotr Jarosław Piotrowski - Disgrace weekend. Nothing to be proud of, but ashamed.
Mike Arienti - If straight people held a pride rally, gays would find it offensive.
Paul Lindsay - Those poor kids have to be subjected to all that nonsense
Don Warnick - ..perverts...peter puffers...
Hannah René Frazier - I'm not gay but I support everyones right to love and be loved. This is for all those asking why they need a ''special parade'' . They shouldn't have to need a parade, but there is so much ignorance they need to fight for their rights as humans and fight to be accepted. Because there is so many hateful, judgmental people.
Ashley Davis - "Why aren't their straight pride parades" Because you've never had to fight for your right to marry. You haven't been beaten, bullied and killed over being straight. You don't have law makers trying to say your marriage isn't 'real' or 'necessary' or trying to use their religion to impose on your life. Be thankful that you don't need straight pride parades!
Amy Oppel - Repent and be saved. As for my beliefs one man one woman period.
Steve Morris - When is straight pride day?
Chris Knight - Anti-family event. Extremely inappropriate for kids.
Edward 'Eddie' Hancock II - Meanwhile I'm celebrating my straight, white, gun-loving, God-fearing conservative Christian Male pride....how else can I piss off you libs today?
Kellie Bloom - Imma organize a straight pride parade
Jacob Staven - Proud Supporter of Equality. Proud Ally.
Nj Bjorn - Bring God back to this country instead and all shall be well.
Fahad Bin Mamoon - If homosexuals claim that everyone deserves happiness, then why can't just stay in the closet and let the normal people be happy???
Marissa Sayles - I have nothing against gay people, but why do they get all pissy when straight people say straight pride? Why are they the only ones that can flaunt their pride?
Matthew Trevor - This is an abomination

NBC News: McDonald is the former CEO of Procter & Gamble and a decorated former Army Captain.Comments:
Audra Oliver - As long as he gets the job done, I don't care...e-i-e-i-o.
Kenneth Gue - Lol...there would be the same haters comment, if he appointed Romney.
Tim Mercer - At West Point he served as the Brigade—Adjutant for the Corps of Cadets and was awarded the Silver Medal from the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufacturing and Commerce. After graduation, he served as a Captain in the U.S. Army for 5 years, primarily in the 82nd Airborne Division, and earned an MBA from the University of Utah in 1978. Upon leaving the military he received the Meritorious Service Medal.
Katie Brown - I don't really care - I just find it funny how the DNC attacks the rich business executives but then puts them into power in the government.
Joe Curry - And you can bet the Nomination will be opposed by the Senate GOP just because Obama nominated him!
Lynn Gross Garner - Will you people listen to yourselves???? Use your brain and do some research. Most of this partisan garbage is bs put out there by the media and politicians. Most of it is inaccurate. We need to stop it and tell the media and washington we are sick of it. This country is a mess and we all need to come together and fix it! The media cares about the ratings and the politicans care about getting re elected! In the mean time, we the people are becoming more and more divided! Ugh!! I hope this guy is the start of it turning around.
Bob McGaughey - Republicans will oppose him just because of WHO nominated him! You know the guy who was elected President twice while black.
Joanne Bond - Sounds like a good choice----Congress do your job........
Brian Perry - Who the turds will try and block no doubt.
Carol Dittman Bullard - He needs to kick butt & take names.
Jude McGloin - We shall see....the VA issue is not an Obama issue...it is long term and systemic. Entrenched bureaus like the VA are like runaway trains....hard to stop without a derailment and unable to change direction without a derailment and a messy crash.
Joseph Price - Obama to nominate another Wall Street guy? Nooooo.
Rok OKeefe - Clearly qualified to do the job, McDonald will face contempt and obstruction by Republican Politicians who want to privatize the VA.
Revita Page - Let's get to work and fix this mess!
Chris Lee - I only care that he does a good job.
I don't care about his previous business engagements unless they affect this.
Conservatives on the other hand, prove themselves hypocrites here. For big business men when it's on their side, against them when they're not.
If he's corrupt, I'll be upset with Obama's decision.
Jackie Rawlings - Boehner will object as will the Tea Party lawmakers the mission is to continue the mess at the VA as it has been going on. I did notice no one seem upset in 2007 when the VA and Walter Reed Hospital were exposed for lack of care to Veterans coming home from War.
Marcie Maccaux - Get the job done buddy, get it done.
Kevin Leiker - Good move. A business man understands how to solve problems and meet a budget. Politicians are incapable of doing difficult things without a blank checkbook.
Joe Weary - Best wishes Sir. We are counting on you. Please do better.
Zbigniew Rodowski - first I read the guys name as Ronald, I figured "hmm...why not" :)
Maureen Springer-Griffith - I don't eat Mc Donald's

NBC News: ISIS is changing its name to take out regional reference and widen its scope.Comments:
Steve Luciferian Wilson - They can call themselves whatever they want ...the rest of the world will continue to call them TERRORISTS.
Peter Whalen - You know why their faces are covered..it is the same 20 people
Lauren Alyse Clark - Islam is the religion, Muslims are those who practice it. And for the thousandth time, terrorist groups and extremists like ISIS do not consist of the majority of society. I am so tired of hearing these generalizations and accusations of Islam being a violent religion who worships "Allah"...which FYI is "God" in Arabic and is one of the 3 religions that derive from Abraham...as does Christianity. All believe in the same God. That being said, something does need to be done about the extremism that threatens the rest of the world and paints such an ugly image for the millions of peaceful religious people.
Lynn Fleckenstein - Proving again that Romney was right and would have been a much better President.
Donald M. Tidd - then drop a tactial nuke, renamed problem solver, on them
Tricia Hesse Sawchuk - Wow..so much hate and madness....
Damian Maina - ISIS is a terrorist grouping of Sunni muslims.so how is it that in Syria America is backing the Sunni rebels in their fight against the Shia minority led by Assad but in Iraq America is backing the Shia led government of Nuri Al-Malaki against the Sunni insurgency? ? US foreign policy is full of hypocrisy and double standards. In Syria the Sunni are 'liberators' but in Iraq they are labeled 'terrorists'
Richard Edge - Do they qualify for financial aid from Obama?
Michael Michelle Gonzales - I think it's time for a
Cody Vaughn - Oh that's cool, thanks for updating us with that.
John Cowlishaw - For every inhumane action there is an inhumane reaction. The cycle of vengeance continues to rotate as long as humans mistreat other humans.
Renee Rayburn - Lisa Marie Lawrence That is not the people of the Islam religion as a whole. They are the radicals and extremist. There is a difference. :)
Gary Ivy - Eliminate them ASAP
Kevin Lacy - No coincidence at all that the week after the imperial idiot releases 5 muslim terrorist leaders that Iraq is attacked and lost to a muslim terrorist group.
Scott Brown - Hmmm!!! I thought Islam were peaceful people. Pffffffff.
Steve Morris - Guess bush/cheney shouldn't have changed the balance of power!
Malcolm Smith - One bomb free of charge to ISIS
Laurence Reyes Abordo - Whats disturbing is that when these scumbags are shouting allahuakbar while shooting defenseless victims!
Marc Langsam - Liberals change name to progressives. Progressives change GORE BULL WARMING to Climate Change and now this? Social engineers are good with language manipulation!
Nancy Sieleman Huzar - Allah will probably be pissed, naming themself after an Eqyptian Goddess.
Renee Rayburn - Whole lot of ignorance going on here.

Juan Carlos Ayala - Looks like a terrorist
Mike Geones - prison time 20 yrs in levenworth
Tricia Hesse Sawchuk - Don't even address him with the title, "Marine"...he's no Marine !
Gus Dahlinger - He is apparently like Congress, they are all cowards...I do call Turd Cruz and his Teabaggers Extreme Domestic Taliban insane Terrorists. Fits em perfect. Here is one of their leaders...
Andrew Hull - Here come the racist Repubs! You can always count on them for stupid comments.
Lois Verhaeghe - give him back to the muslims
Patricia Kruse-Herrick - Hotel Levenworth should be his next address for life!!!
Tiffany Brewster - Fool us once, shame on you. Fool us twice, shame on us.
Debb Smith - Profiling here, but not against it. Look at the name, the nationality....hint, hint...Marine Corps is better than that! Dude is panty waste
Dan Los Sinner - Obama will probably give him a medal
Kristopher Garcia - Shoot him, I volunteer to do it.
Vivian Foster - His name says it all
Rhonda R Sheldon - Let him stay in Lebanon. We don't need to pay for his upkeep.
Debbie Chatterton - 😳 oh, so terrorist have a certain "look" now? Is it the same look "ignorance" has? 😉
Ruth Gooden Childers - Looks have nothing to do with criminal activity. 'So tired of stupidity.
Luis J. Garza - Let me guess; to a hero's welcome.
Renee Andrea Vaughn - Just let him stay in Lebanon. Isnt that where he is from? Now...hes afraid to be there? Its his birthplace. .leave him...those ppl think all crazy anyway. Who NEEDS him here. ..
Laura Nelson - Explain how he is any different then Bergdahl? Oh except that SIX were Not KILLED trying to Rescue him
John Buzzerio - Charles Ritchie- foxtrot uniform charlie kilo yankee oscar uniform. Pinhead.
Robert Goodman - Desertion in face of enemy= Firing Squad
Jenny Lynn Allen - Sad a traitor to his country

NBC News: Eating dogs: New horrors await refugees streaming across the border.Comments:
Malessa Benjamin-Martin - And then there are those who got millions and billions and still dont give a helping hand
Mark Gilbreath - You think eating cows and pigs is better than eating dogs? What planet are you from? An animal is an animal.
Elena McGill - How many of you posting such awful things call yourselves Christians? You are nothing more than modern day Pharisees. You CANNOT judge the actions of these people based on your AMERICAN lives. They come from an entirely different experience that most of us cannot imagine even if we tried. The fact that you can be so non chalant about people starving to death shows where your heart really is. This article brought tears to my eyes. Maybe I cannot do anything to stop it but I can have human compassion and empathy. It's scary how many of you dismiss this or think it's funny because it's so far away or in Africa so it doesn't matter. By the way, that makes some of you racist as well. When judgement comes I hope you are treated with the same exact compassion you have demonstrated here.
Corey N Kathy - Look at all the starving people in the US ; NO i do NOT think we should continue sending food and etc to these other countries when we have people here in our home land that need help.
Same goes for adoption. . Take a look at all the babies in foster homes in the US, YET OUR own people adopt from across seas. . Wtf?!?!
Rose Facciolo Curry - There are people starving here too.
Michele Donlon - O please! Like they never ate dog before! Sheesh!
Maurice St Pierre - Why are people upset? Is it because they are eating dogs? People have been eating dogs since the dawn of time. There was even a tribe of people on display at the 1904 Worlds Fair that would roam the neighborhoods surrounding it gathering up people's dogs and eating them. What do you expect them to eat....dirt? Turn your outrage where it belongs.....that hundreds of thousands are literally starving to death. Not missing a meal like the homeless and poor are doing here in this country, but literally STARVING TO DEATH. You should be disgusted that in this day of technology that people are starving to death, not eating dogs.
Dennis R. Bouvier Sr. - we've got veterans in America eating out of dumpsters and sharing with their dogs. look at the kids in this picture. think breeding is a great idea when you're down to eating dogs? what do people want us to do if they won't use the condoms we send?
Katie Brown - They will die, there is no denying it. The land is dead, and at its best it still wont accommodate all of those people. Give these people condoms and kill rapists otherwise this issue will continue for decades to come.
Emory Combs - Animals are food. Eat it if you got it.
Patty Durick-scott - And we are so wasteful here, starving people would love our leftovers or the stuff we waste and throw out..we are . Wasteful country
Ebony Leopard - Never let it be said that a serious news report like this, when involving anyone of African origin or race, will not only bring out the racists on the internet, but also the lowest common denominator of mankind with the urge to spew their ignorance using their actual real names while doing it. Thank you Facebook. You are literally the lifted rock that exposes the insects of society.
April Bailey - Different cultures people. If you were starving you would eat whatever you could find as well. I know I would.
April Bailey - Annette Farley I guess you know nothing about the lands there. Do some research before you condemn an entire nation you idiot.
Laurie Lee - Too many mouths to feed, not enough resources. Those that survive, need birth control, education & contraceptives so the cycle of misery is broken. Just irresponsible to continue having children that starve.
The men die last, the children first.
Laura Faustini Annunziata - This planet has sooo much food no nation should be starving
Iryn Prem - oh!!! God help them
Sara Denton - I hope the children fleeing into our borders from So.America don't meet the same end. As we know many of our American children go to bed hungry too, thanks to big corporations who get all the tax breaks.
Kristina Rossavik - People are being raped, killed, kidnapped and separated from their families on the way to get here too. For what? I'm not sure what NBCs trying to get across here.. To turn our faces to another country? Just because we haven't put words on what the immigrants go through to get to this country doesn't mean it isn't happening. Oh those horrible south Sudanese, pregnant without food. How about the uneducated American mom who DRINKS with child? We're full of idiots too America. Idiots with a right to vote. And ain't no foreigner aloud in~ but we can talk about how horrible OTHER people are all day long
Luis Lopez - Yes what Maurice said. People like to make anything an issue. It other parts of the world they first torture and skin them because they say the meat taste better.. Keep in mind those are civilized societies. So get over the fact refugees are eating dogs because that's probably all they have. Half of the people here would eat a door if they were starving if that's all there was..
Corey N Kathy - Matthaeus forcas - REGARDLESS our homeland should be focused on FIRST!!! Im so sick and tired of hearing and reading about other countries needing "help" when like i already mentioned, the U.S. has people that are in DESPERATE need!

NBC News: The Vatican said Pope Francis had suffered an "unexpected indisposition," but there were no concerns for his health.Comments:
Carol Griffin - Not Catholic, but I wish him good health and a long, long life. He is truly what is needed. I believe he is a good man. He is having such a positive impact around the world.
Michael Banach - This is a good Pope.
Chris Hughart - Just has a case of "holy shits"
Barry Morgan - Guess he's not seen the borgias...He may want a wine taster.
Toni Jeske - an amazing man. gives hope back to mankind
Carlos Cheng - May the pope be in good health and may his loving kindness spread to the world. By the way I am an atheist.
Pamela Waterman - Just curious but why do they make these guys that are older than dirt pope??
Jackie Parrino Overman - Love to our beloved Pope. 💗
Nathan Hadaway - Lighten up Francis.
Maurice St Pierre - I'm surprised he's lasted this long. The "old guard" has killed before (remember John Paul 1).
Carolyn Kramer - Please Lord keep him safe. He is a breath of fresh air sent by the Holy Spirit!
Kathy Kaufman Weber - if there is a god he will protect this pope. it's the first in a long line (during my life) that is trying to get christians to BE christian.
Benj John Mohs - Wolf in sheeps clothing.
Milt Weisman - Be well, sir. The world needs your kindness.
Michael Hannibal Gant - Excommunicated the Mob? Hmmmm
Roy Lawson - Not a believer myself, but find myself actually liking this guy. He's going to get assasinated. He's too good for this world. Hope I'm wrong, but he is challenging the crime world and global corporate powers who have no desires to end poverty or give up their disproportionate wealth.
Lydia Hollowell - We Catholics are very proud and humbled by Pope Francis. I have come to accept that I can not always agree with my church, but I can do my best to love her and our leader.
M Griffith Brody - I'm an atheist but I like this pope. I wish him a speedy recovery. He's been in the position far too short of a time to be leaving already. This man is going to do some good.
Nancy Delia - Wishing him the best. Take a vacation!
Neil Herrick - Stay well; the world needs your decency and common sense.......
Faye Tabor Ethridge - Jimmy Kimberly even the Pope hits a speed bump now and then.
