- Aloha! Tuesday Night Talk - Tala Mai email..... can you help? Is this relationship over or can (Type: status | Published: 2014-12-09T06:05:15+0000)
Niu FM - The Beat of the Pacific!: Aloha! Tuesday Night Talk - Tala Mai email..... can you help? Is this relationship over or can it be salvaged? Dear NIU FM, My partner hasn't held down a job now close to 3 years and has all the excuses in the world. He has a degree but claims there's no jobs here for it and that he'd have to go to Australia to find work. The thing is, I allowed him to do this 2 years ago and all he did was catch up with his mates and mucked around for 2 weeks. Ever since he came back, he uses this excuse all the time saying 'It's a matter of me going back there and finding a job' etc. It's like he's got no sense of time, the way he talks about it, it just happened last week, and when I say to him 'You've been saying this for two years now' he goes off his rocker saying that all I care about is money! OMG, I'm the only one that works to support our family and he's more than happy to spend my money and we have 2 kids that need to come first. I made the mistake of getting close to a work mate and told him all of this. I know it was wrong of me but it felt so good to have someone listen to me for once. We haven't done anything but I'm starting to have feelings for this guy and my husband doesn't help the situation by being useless. This guy just gives advice and tells me to talk to my husband about it but I feel the attraction is mutual. I don't know what to do now. Please help me.Comments:
michelle paama - Deal with husband situation first, if it isn't working then end it, don't start something before you end something, because you'll be something worse than your lazy husband
joshua savieti - talk to a woman about it.
yvonne phillips-kaukasi - Ditch your husband he's useless x
nivaga varnz pouoa - You husband is getting a bit precious with his job of choice. Money is money no matter what you do.
You sound resentful of him not contributing to your family and I don't blame you.
My mother had a saying. Marry to be a darling, not a slave.
Your husband is suffering from a case of 'mummy's boy syndrome' yeah, I made that up. But it's true. Lol.
Respect is earned in any relationship, married or not ..
It takes effort from both sides. 3 years not working is not effort.
Before you approach something you shouldn't and out of respect for your friend. Sort your marriage out.
On behalf of your children, kick him out. Or you move back home til you get clarity or he gets some sense and takes action.
You are the only advocate to give your 2 children.. Not 3 children a better life.
I detest mummy's boys.. Can't stand on their own two feet without support. Now he's treating you like his mother.. No way. No how that is acceptable.
Best of luck.
junior t-raww mamea - When a rich Nigga want ya.....
...and your Nigga can't do nothing for ya.. Lmao
jo ann worth - 2 words - you're married
mia peseta - Check your vows , that was the binding covenant. Drop him off at his mothers house and let her know she hasnt finished training him yet, he still has a little bit of useless hanging around. Take care of yourself and the kids. Support him mentally from a far. Stop being a hoe that part you can control. Pray and surround yourself with good people. Stop dogging him at work, dont talk to men about your marriage talk to someone in EAP thats what its there for. #bethesafatfob #bethehaslackloveissues #betyouhavedaddyissues
roy nutimeki taufoou - Bloody useless..the both of you ! Are use married ? Straight rams the both of you ..atamai kovi !!! Think about your kids. Who gives a shizz if he hasn't had a job . your with him cause you love the numbsacks. But if 2 kids outta the relations ain't enough to stay with him and having no job is easy way out ..then leave with the b bags at work. 2 years of " letting him " yeah right . take blame for this nonsense
Also please .what happened with falling in love with a ni##a with Bus pass #EddieGriffin 😂😂 . easy way out is to fall for another And not take on the issue with the man You love. You let this happen for nearly 3 years also... Did you miss your back bone? Or was it a brain explosion? Kataki tamaiki vale!!! 😂💩
talosu asiasi - Well only you can answer your own question sister! Your sick of it but you choose to stay and carry on with his nonsense! Either your in or your out! You need to tell him how it's gonna go cos he ain't doing it himself! So you lead the way and say it how it is! If he makes progress good if not put some tough love in there! As for that work colleague STAY AWAY! You are still in a relationship with your man so don't even give into this other guy! Stop all communication with him and talk to your GF's if you wanna be heard! Don't dip your hands into a jar that you may regret later! Anywho all the best xx
lusi rabete-tatana - Playing with fire, that's how women fall in love with someone else it's emotional and u are confiding in him on a emotional level and that's dangerous u need to talk to ur husband before the Xmas party and u get caught playing up..
chanel nuku - 3 years & no work? If he's being a stay at home dad then thats cool if he's actually helping with kids & housework. If he's just being useless, some time apart might be good so he can focus on sorting his s**t out & you can focus on you & the kids. Rule number 1 bout marriage though (this is something the pastor that married us told us) never confide in someone of the opposite sex. Most people think that sex is all that cheating is but it starts first by making that emotional connection. Hopefully everything works out for you guys but maybe time apart would be best to figure out what you both want...
darcy rankin - If he does the kids and house work then he has a job the most important job in the world being a MUM lol
shalom yasi raits - You signed up for this remember?..you deal with one issue at a time!Your loyalty is with your family first, ofcoarse a sympathetic ear and 'currently employed shoulder' to cry to can seem appealing, but that is not the priority here at all. Distance yourself from 'Attractive shoulder' to avoid adultery distraction and further disfunction, stand up to your un-supportive husband arrange last chance pre-separation councilling, youre supporting everyone after all you very independent already,he needs you financially not vice versa. Make a plan, kids first deal with sloth husband give it a try before giving up,if it doesnt work out then you can consider being single again and what goes with that later- WHEN YOU ARE AND IF YOU ACTUALLY BECOME SINGLE!
luti mekisa mika fakaalofa - He's your husband no matter what! Through thick & thin ✌️
kingi rankin - Now I ain't saying she a gold digger, but she don't want it with them broke niggas, uh!
jacob poe - Aikae go too talk to your bloody man an don't make it out on FB coz the whole peeps around the world can see your problems ah lmao anyway get your man's attention for real stop playing the victim coz he's not a mind reader grow up but a good read! Hahaha Aikae.ps stop talking to your work mate ah it's gonna fall back on you woman!just feel for the kids not you guys.GB!
rose moreland - Tell him to get a job useless prick!!
loi afoa - Really? Only untill hes lost what he had I don't think hell come to his senses but than again it comes down to communication are you talking to him or Are you telling him I think working to fix your relationship is important especially for your kids if he wants to go aus let him go and see if he is gonna stick to his words and if he doesn't just say see yah later but give him some time to get a job koz aus isn't the same as it use to be as for your feelings your only feeling like that because that's what your missing from your relationship but all in all it is your choice being a mum is hard but that's the joy of motherhood don't forget your kids, will not forget the hard work you are doing be strong and keep fighting if you fall stand up and keep going. Have a blessed week hope you work through it. X
young marama - Kick his ass to the kerb
fuli lafaele - Leave him, you have two kids, and don't need to raise an extra one!! honestly your'd do FINE w.out him!! ;) Im pretty sure you know what to do, but is just to scared to do it, Do what you gotta do guurl :-* Good luck
maylene tavita-timu - Sounds like you already made up your mind the moment you decided to confide in your new friend at work about your private marital issues :L

- Tuesday Talk - Tala Mai on your NIU DRIVE with Niko..... advice for this smart young man please (Type: status | Published: 2014-12-02T01:17:29+0000)
Niu FM - The Beat of the Pacific!: Tuesday Talk - Tala Mai on your NIU DRIVE with Niko..... advice for this smart young man please? If you have an issue you'd like to put up for discussion, email in confidence to email@example.com Thanks :) Dear NIU FM, I've just finished my final year in High School and feel great. All the hard work is over for now and I'm looking forward to the holidays with my family before I go to a specialist course in Wellington early next year. This is to chase my dream job and Wellington is the only place to offer credits for it to begin with and I can move on to University later. The problem is my girlfriend of a year seems to be getting a bit more possessive. We don't go out much anymore and when we're at her house or mine, she just wants to stay in the room (which my mum hates and I think is a bit disrespectful). We're both of Island decent and her parents accepting she had a boyfriend was a big deal. My parents are ok with it, so long as school always came first, which it has. My girlfriend keeps going on and on about me meeting someone new in Wellington and accuses me of wanting to leave her. No matter what I say she doesn't believe me. I want to have a good career, my adult life is about to begin but I'm scared she might do something stupid when I leave. Her parents think we're going to marry in a few years but now, I'm not too sure because of how she behaves. Why is she so insecure? Should I give up my dream and study something else here in Auckland for her? My parents would wonder what is going on. I'm lost and need help on her. She's normally a beautiful girl, but lately she's changed. I want to help her understand that Wellington is only about what I thought we be our future one day. R4LComments:
ange m-t - Girls come and go. Chase your dream. If she really is the one for you she would let you go do what you need to do despite the risk of losing you.
Wellington is the best by the way 😉 haha
malachi watch - Tell her you're lesbian 😁👊 nah legit she's afraid to lose you I think I dunno females are alien species to males ..
filli filipo - Obviously you know she has insecurity issues and that's ok, all men and woman have that problem but part of being in a relationship is to be supportive and reassure her that how much you care about her and that you will always be there for her and love and care for her, also what's important is compromise and communication, she has to meet you half way and if she can't then she's not the one for you, if she really loves you she'll support you 100 percent, talk to her about maybe visiting her every second weekend or vice versa, at the end of the day, do what makes you happy life is too short so make the most of every day, and we only live once so being happy is most important in this world, because there may not be a tomorrow all the best and i hope this helps :)
alan leilua - Give her a kiss and say "I'm off to Wellington!" Then do the Nae Nae as you walk back ! After that slap yourself in the head and say don't ever let a girl get in the way of a mans dream ! Find a woman who supports you and would twerk for once you graduate hahaha ! 😂😂😂😂
luma corina tanielu - You need to help yourself before you can help her. You've got the rest of your life to be with someone. This is why being friends with girls give me a headache. Haha.
kirz marsters tulevihi - 1 year of being 2gether .. Your relationship is still in the begining stage & as much as you care 4 her .. She on the other hand should be supportive of you chasing your dreams , as im sure you would 4 her .. If she cant understand that this is what you wanna do , then obviously shes just thinking of her self .. Go seek the advice you def need from those who has your best interest in heart .. DONT give up on something you passionally & truly want over someone who is being selfish (sorry if im being 2 strong) .. You are only gonna regret it later on ..
joey-ann akeli-ila - - At the end of the day it's what you want the most buh "Never let anyone stand in the way of your career ! Never let anyone deny you of your dream and future". Good luck :)
metitilani alo - If it's meant to be then God will make it happen. If you can stay together while you chase your dream in Wellington that will be the ultimate test. I reckon chase your dream bro. I had the same situation when I was getting ready to move of Otago for study a couple of years ago. She ended up moving on and I moved down with a clear mind and ready to take on the challenge of a new surrounding. You do you bro. You got the whole world waiting for you to get in. If a girl just so happens to come into the picture I trust you'll know what to do bro. It's evident by the fact that you're asking for advice on it. All the best with your future endeavours mate.
alisha marley arahia falwasser - Bro do all your education first. If she really loves you she wouldn't be acting childish and would let you get your dream job. Otherwise find another lady!!
taefu andrew tuilaepa mitchell - Take her with you.. Problem solved.
bee gibbs - Too many girls are possessive and no matter what they won't change so get rid of her!! Stick with your dreams you'll get over her and it will teach her to stop being such a insecure nut job
jimmy gambino - well basically you're moving onto bigger and better things and she isn't, so instinctively she's going to latch onto you and prevent you from leaving her. you obviously mean a lot to her but love is not possession, love is free.
awhina kawau - Plan for her to visit, check holiday weekends and dates. Bus tickets are cheap or save for flights. Give it a good go, if it doesn't work - at least you tried :)
mini n fae lauano - "Let her go, If She Comes Back She's Yours If She Doesn't, She Never Was"
kara hopkirk - Don't give up your dream, stay focused it's only for a short period of your adult life, your lucky you know what direction you would like your life to go at such a young age career wise. If she truly loves you she will wait a year, it will go fast, and there is plenty of technology to see each other through. Also holiday trips to meet up you will find ways to stay and see each other. Don't worry too much of what she might do cause you will worry yourself silly. If your love is strong you will make it through this little journey together and come out even stronger as a couple. And if she's the one it's for both your futures.
brina-ariana rani pele singh - Come party in Wellywood 👍👍👍
luti mekisa mika fakaalofa - Girls last! Family & Education first 💕
gary kioa - I say, you go and chase your dream mate! Whats the point of being in a relationship if there is no TRUST!!! If you have a goal that you have set then go and accomplish it! Do not let someone stop you from doing what you want! She's being selfish! Do what you gotta do to survive! Put your hands together, kneel down on your knees, close your eyes and pray to our HF and seek for anwsers.
jo ann worth - She can join u or fly down to visit... Follow your dream job
peseta eunice sio - She sounds too insecure about her future and she is determined to play mind games with you, dump her there are much more confident beautiful women in Wellington
michelle turei - put your dream job first bruh! it could be ya only chance or take ya girlfriend with you if she's like that :)
- Thursday Talk - Tala Mai.... can you help here? The old backstab or is there more to this?
Dea (Type: status | Published: 2014-11-27T02:52:14+0000)
Niu FM - The Beat of the Pacific!: Thursday Talk - Tala Mai.... can you help here? The old backstab or is there more to this? Dear NIU FM, I'm a 'Palagi' girl, born and raised in South Auckland. I've always had a mixture of friends growing up and in college I got really close to my best friend, a NZ born Samoan. We've been like sisters since until I started seeing a guy we both knew from our school days. We're 23 now. At first when I told her I was seeing this guy (he's Samoan too), she acted like it everything was cool. Then I noticed she would say not so nice things about him, like he can't be trusted etc. I asked her if she knew something and she said no. Anyway, I got really hurt when my boyfriend and I were invited to a mutual friends party at her house. When we arrived we went to put the food we had brought with us in the kitchen and I could hear my besties voice from outside. As I listened I could hear my name being mentioned and her saying that I was a 'fia Samoan' and should just stick to my culture instead of wanting to be something I'm not. I left right away and haven't spoken to her since. This was close to a month ago now. What is her problem? I don't try to be Samoan at all. I happen to have a Samoan boyfriend now, thought I had a Samoan best friend but them being Samoan has nothing to do with it! I appreciate them because they are nice people, well at least my girlfriend used to be. I don't know why she's changed on me. What have I done wrong? What should I do now? I do miss her, but don't know why she's saying these things about me. Please help.Comments:
liz leuo - Typical Islander behaviour to be honest!
You will be judged for not being Samoan, too Samoan, not Samoan enough, not religious enough, conservative enough, too fat, too thin, not giving enough money the list goes ON AND ON!
Islanders can be the most judgemental people, they act like their perfect people who live perfect lives but in fact 9 times outta 10 they should be more focused on cleaning up their own back yard before passing judgement! Believe me this is speaking from personal experience!!!
Your so called "friend" clearly does not have your back! In fact she sounds jealous! Since you do have a Samoan boyfriend, my best advice is... Good luck! Lol believe me girl you thought you had it bad with your friend, wait till your man's mum is in the picture! Lol
My advice to you regarding your friend, ignore her, doesn't matter what your history is together, history meant nothing when she was standing outside backstabbing you and making up stories! Enjoy building your relationship with your man, ignore the hate, love is love, its not based on race, size or anything! Focus on putting positive energy into yourself! ❤️
alan leilua - Typical jealous South Auckland island girls lol
bou nonu - Just do the shoooole cam on her lol
shayna tipama'a - cos its her long lost cousin. hahaha na she envys you. jealous of your happiness. maybe she wants to be palagi? Hahahahaha
jarah togalea - I really feel that some PI girls think they have dibs on PI boys. And maybe she's jealous that you've taken an eligible suitor from her.
kasandra jade - im a "palagi" girl aswell but i was raised with my step dads family for 22years and they are samoan.i have never gone out with a "white" boi only samoans or maoris.
i understand some samoan speak and only hung out with the island girls at school.so i kno wat its like being calld 'fia samoa' and told to hang with my own kind but my closest friend/babys godmother is samoan..shes the best friend i could ask for.i call her mum and dad my own and she tells me straight up if im being stupid or not.if your friend aint like that then theyr not worth being in your life..sometymes it takes being in a relationship or hardtymes to realise who your true friends are..
tessa elle teeaze - She's anti interracial relationships. That's not your problem. All you have to do now is make better, less judgemental friends who only have one face. Fixing the breakdown between you two is her job, not yours. Enjoy your Samoan boyfriend.. Samoans are a great catch, tbh lol
sione f v fifita - Welcome to the islander world my friend. Keep your claws hidden but sharpened.
bronwyn rupapera brown - dont wonder about it hit her up if you are as close as you say you should be able to tell whats her problem! noone else can tell what is wrong with her except her if that was my friend and i overheard that i wouldve asked there and then btw if she hasnt contacted you in a month she is not worth having around
katie gumaka - someone once told me, as you get older you start counting your real friends in one hand - lifes to short her lost not yours.
mike tauafiafi - Marry him, then you can have a samoan surname..more salt in the wound for her hehe
jimmy gambino - samoan humour can be very vicious which is why a lot of samoans have thick skins and are emotionally blocked off. You're friend was just jealous and was covering it up by putting you down, talk to her.
melissa mercy - Cos she is makua Jealous !! Who cares u dont need friends like that !
chase carlton - That Samoan girls for ya lol loto leagas all the time.
ree dee - Island humour. Anything for a joke. Sounds like she wants your man. lol
shayna tipama'a - tell her straight up "if you have a problem with me & what I do or who I date, come @ me & I'll fight you." hahahahaha.
talosu asiasi - Well honey sorry to burst the bubble - if she was your Besty she would never speak about you like that! I mean shiiiiiit you are grown women and she can't even say things to your face! It was meant for a reason for you to hear that! Break ties with her! Honestly she will be like "aw sorry sis I didn't mean what I said" or she will lie about not saying it! You don't need friends like that honey! She wants your man too by the sounds of it - bet she crushed on him in school and didn't tell a soul!
Honey stick with your man and be happy! You deserve good supportive friends not two faced ones! Friends who are still gonna stick by you through it all! Sounds like the cow don't deserve your friendship or time!
Move on and be happy! Much alofas girl xo
kalina a'a - Sorry to be blunt but that's just Samoan ladies for ya! Great friends yeah but can be two faced as well, just saying... I am Samoan so I'm not being racist just being real, I'm also half.. Every culture has their flaws, but for reals, these Samoan ladies take the cake, nice to your face then nek minit talking behind your back, I've experienced it one too many times, even the closest you "so called think" still sometimes disappoint you and let you down. Don't worry it's not you, it's her probably being jealous which is the usual reason for them to play up.. Your better off without her, she might be mad you got one of the good Samoan guys, who knows?? But yeah keep on walking and take your man with you lol, bless you, better living 😊
kiva jackson - Omg ignore it. Islanders have a complex of who's this and who's that. Always bound to happen with small island nations. Just make sure your body is always snatched and your hair is on point then whatever that faikakala says will slide all the way off thanks to the coconut oil she uses to straighten her afro lol
vaoesea lemanu - those your bestie go to a efks church? if so then thats answer lol
maddison leesa elijah peniongo - That's so sad :( being that she is your bestfriend, she should be so happy for you. But I definitely can relate to you! My partner is samoan/tongan, my situation wasn't about a bestfriend hating but more just people I would socialise with because I would speak samoan to our son and tongan as well and I remember hearing the words 'fia samoan' quite often. You'll get used to hearing it every now and then because some people just find it hard to accept but Nevermind them, as long as your partner respects you and loves you and his aiga also then you've got nothing to worry about, that is honestly all you need girl :) ✌️✌️
- Tuesday Night Talk - Tala Mai. Can you help out with this situation?
If you have an issue you (Type: status | Published: 2014-11-25T06:21:39+0000)
Niu FM - The Beat of the Pacific!: Tuesday Night Talk - Tala Mai. Can you help out with this situation? If you have an issue you'd like discussed for our Tala Mai nights, email them in confidence to firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks :) Dear NIU FM, My older brother (in his mid 30's now) got into a fight with our mum a few months ago about him not contributing enough for board and bills etc. He only gives her about 100 dollars a week if she's lucky and just spends all his pay on himself, partying and food. He doesn't own a car, so we don't know where all his money goes. We don't think he's saving because he's always broke on his off pay week. He eats my food or helps himself to whatever is in the cupboard and half of that stuff is for my kids school lunch. Anyway, their argument lead him to move out to one of our cousins flats. Our cousin has always been a hard worker and has a mortgage on this 2 bedroom unit. At first he was happy to help my brother out, saying that having a flat mate might be good and that it'll help him pay off his mortgage too. My mum was disappointed in her nephew, because she believes my brother should be helping out here and not with him. Anyway, it turns out my cousin has had enough of my brothers lazy ways. He has told me that he barely pays board, never buys groceries or items like toilet paper, washing powder and soap etc but uses all of his stuff. He parties all the time, comes home early hours of the morning and even asks my cousin to pick him up at random hours of the morning. My cousin has said he is losing money now and this has made his financial situation worse. He was better off financially before he moved in. He wants me to talk to my brother about returning home, but I'm not sure if Mum or I actually want him back without him growing up first. How can we tell him this? Feels like we almost need an intervention if it wasn't so crazy. What would you do?Comments:
ban patelesio-wright - Probably do the #SholeCam on him, to wake his ass up?
don allan taupo thompson - Everybody move out the house & simply don't tell him where to. I plan on doin this if my kids don't leave home by the time the youngest one is 21...
karinah ramonah toalii-nielsen - Your cousin took your brother in with open arms, now he is financially struggling, because of him! It is NOT your cousin's job to look after him, BUT YOUR'S & YOUR MOMZ! So you & your mom need to take him back in, & sort him out yourselves! Give him tough love! But your cousin doesn't deserve to suffer because of his good deed towards your brother!
Take him back, & then, KICK HIM OUT!!
raymond kumar - Some times tough love is necessary. They get over it. Because he acts and lives like a child you have to treat him like a child.
lole kata - is he legally blind ? I thought he loves his momma ...
jayne tufuga - Heey! I have a 33 year old son like that eggzactly to a T. Wow!
masa lili kawaguchi - Your cousin needs to be upfront with him, no love like tough love. Hes not going to learn if you play chinese whispers. Say it straight or run it straight lol!
jayde tainui whara whara - give him a hiding. end of story e hine lol
lusi rabete-tatana - Oh my friggen gosh he's bloody in his 30's he aint no adolescent... Ur whole family needs to kick his butt out and let him learn to survive in the real world think this dude has been getting it to sweet for a long time and this is the only way it'l help him grow the hell up.. Thats what sort of intervention he needs no talking some good ol tough love!
michelle paama - tag him in this thread, a good shaming might help
tracey pomare - Show him the door 🚪
lotu chingchongwa ahokava - Has your brother ever got a hiding? He probably needs one. Your cousin is suffering cause of your brother! You & your mum need to sit him down & tell him that the stuff he's doing isn't cool, its very immature & he should grow up! Set him straight! Tell him to get his life together or otherwise he'll be drinking & partying his life away! No Mother would want their son doing that!
reupena rimoni - First of all, tell your cousin to grow some balls, and confront him and for your mom, aua le popople... They always come crawling back to their Mommies !!!
monique antoinette andrew - what the??? mid 30‘s and still sponging at hs old age.. hes a born loser.
rams tauialo - mid 30z? hez old shud know the ways of being a man ,mum needz to gve him the real talk and a jandel to wake him up lol
veni tahavalu - Introduce him to the streets he'll learn quicker than u think. Sad but true
steven apisai - Your cousin needs to grow a pair.
paea kailea - Hope he's investing hard out on a rich taahine to look after his lazy az.. Or he will end up as a lonely old man in ya couz's garage soon..
jen papali'i - Give him a hi-five to the face and tell him to "Grow up" or your mum will kikiga him then say "Don't FUGG to me" lmao 30years old and still acts like a little kid. He has to fall to get back up... So let him fall FLAT on his face. Lol
stephen vincent - Honestly my friend, you and your mum do absolutely nothing. Sounds like your mum is a wonderful loving and caring person to bring up to wonderful songs. If you're a Christian then brace yourself for the ending of the "PRODIGAL SON" then talk to him after the feast...lol...when all fails use the SALU...hehehe!

What do you think? (Type: photo | Published: 2014-11-20T13:49:42+0000)
Niu FM - The Beat of the Pacific!: New look for our money.... #prettyflash What do you think?Comments:
heather maxwell - Why the hell do we need new looking money. There are more important things to worry about other than what our goddamn money looks like... for example, the homeless or oh yeah
bee gibbs - Yup flash as but it could've been spent else where like child poverty or hospitals etc
matt lavea - And that's why NZ.s economy will always be five steps behind
tracey satherley - $80 mill?? & we are amongst the highest for child poverty ?
stevie riel - It looks like the Australian money had babies with the NZ money tbh O.o
anna te whare - Nope its ugly....
hemaia naniseni - Kind of looks like a blend of the Australian and Chinese bank notes.
canon dragon taito - Gaaaaaaaaaayyy!!!!
sharon jiuriesa - Haha omg you serious Tiso Lofipo x
tiso lofipo - Sharon Jiuriesa this is what it's gna look like zzz
frederico loloa - Waste of funds and resources when tax payers money could be utilised elsewhere.
noelene moalaeua faiva - Waste of money and it looks ugly!!
yep sure - Why the government think that changing the look of the dollar is beyond me!! Its a total waste of tax payers money and for what? Just so it's prettier?? How about using that money towards education! Quite silly really!
hurihia christine pomare - Of coz ...... So it looks better in a rich persons wallet!!! I see the sense now ..... Pffftttttt
jenifah mareiti vaipa - Not really pretty ugs tbh? Looks like, aus nd china decided to make babies nd john key decied to adopt them lols?
maryam haseeb - looks kind of russian why not spend funds on housing the homeless or something never mind messing with money and flags.
eric marlow sagato tuilaepa - With the change of the looks of the nz money will the currency go up haha
tanya paoo - Unnecessary and a stupid waste of money.
silah mack - Wer wasting money making NEW money when our focus should be on making MORE money
caitlyn oldehaver - Looks a lot like canadian $$

Niu FM - The Beat of the Pacific!: Talofa lava family! Yay its Friday woop woop! Ok time for some seriousness k.. Fresh Daily Poll: Transparency, Accountability…This is what Manu Samoa players want from the SRU(Samoa Rugby Union). This situation has been brewing to the extent of Manu Samoa players threatening to Boycott the game against England in Twickenham this weekend. Samoan Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele, also the Chairman of the Rugby Union and has hit them back calling them ‘Childish’ he goes on to say… "If they don't want to play, then don't come," "There are many players here who are looking for an opportunity." This story has been making headlines in the Media gaining support from ex Manu players and even support from some All Blacks.. So…What are your thoughts on this whole situation?Comments:
sharon vele-vaka - Politics and sports should never mix..yes there are plenty of other players looking for the opportunity to rep the country but I think what the current players are trying to achieve is transparency and accountability, not just for them but for future players and if the pm thinks they're just in it for the money then maybe he needs to look again at who is acting like the spoilt child..
amanda walker - Replace the chairman. What kind of message does this send to young players coming through the grades/ranks? I'll tell u what the message they'll recieve.. Play for New Zealand or Australia. Sharpen up Mr. Sailele!
yanda tuiloa - These players deserve the highest respect for repping Samoa, how embarrasing for Samoa to have a PM who dosnt support his team, but says there are other players looking for the opportunity! what opportunity are they talking about? Boycott the game, if Samoa had any respect for the Manu samoa team they would all say no also. What kind of a PM does Samoa have and why is he still PM? much respect for Manu Samoa, there are countries load of people who will support you. Childish!!! pftttt out of all the qualifications the PM has, that was the best he could come up with!!!
awhina kawau - Aussie players joining in #samoaunited
emz toka - sack the chairman AND the prime minister-like john Campbell said in a previous show Where's the money??? prime minister
daryl collins - #SamoaUnited #ManuSamoa
cne lv - What the? What happened to support the players, prime minister should stick to politics in fact he should retire all ready. I support the players 100% Samoa it's time to vote out this minister...
rodney moe - Two meetings organised by the IRB and players in which the SRU were to attend and the only excuse they come up with for not attending is they got the days mixed up!! More lame excuses by SRU and Samoan pm!! If the Samoan pm thinks by not hearing the Manu players and IRB concerns and that hoping this whole fiasco will just blow over then by all means Manu Samoa should definitely boycott!!! Got my backing 100%last time I saw something like this happen was on discovery channel and Nazi Germany buahahaha!!! Pay the boys PRIME MINISTER AFOLF!!!
senio siaosi lafaele - Mea g e oo ai si koeiga g e umi ae faimai faiaku ai foi
loi afoa - Stop thinking about yourself selfish and that problem with having too much pride. Samoa is gifted with so many talented people who strive and look up to the manu Samoa players don't give our next generation false hope. X your only chairman for a short time in your life you wouldn't want to be remembered as the .........fag
ioane jay lolesio - Boycott.its the only way.
rouru kapao jr - Quick Question: Can the Manu Samoa players leave the SRU and become another Free Samoan Rugby Union under the IRB? That way they would dissolve the current SRU and take a vote of no Confidence and save Samoan Rugby for the future! #gummonPM #someoneneedstogo #FreeSamoanRugby #futurerugby #justasking
nusa matamua - We live in a world where everone is open to their opinions and also negotiations are an everyday thing. Hes a bully. Like another person said above.. hes going by that samoan old school rule where its his way or nothing at all. After the issue with that money that wasnt accounted for after the 09 Tsumani.. why the hell is he still the PM? Good on the boys.. stand your ground otherwise 10 years laters itl be the same story.
awhina kawau - Prime minister is a bully, not interested in negotiating. Old school ways, pay himself, friends n family first - players and people last!
daryl collins - Stop the mismanagement or make way and move aside #SamoaUnited #ManuSamoa
junior lua - Tuilaepa!
If you can't back up your National Team then why should the people trust that you can back up the Nation you greedy, ignorant, selfish.......so called Prime Minister!!!
principal fakaua - They are making a mistake by asking for more money
The thing most aren't educated about how money is distributed in our small island!! Samoa just needs more sponsors to help make the decision easy...
Sponsors like tire shops and small car dealers arnt gona make the cut....they need to think big!! SBW you wana be a sponsor? Lol just for 2015 and then tell us if your sponsorship was worth it for that year!! Put yourself in the chairmans shoes for a day and see if you can carry that Burden of actions and consequence
jacob poe - Get rid of the palemia coz all these bs rubbish politicians just all selfish idiots sorry to say ah we Samoan people don't need those fiapoto ones who just think for themselves ok love my country Samoa Mo Samoa we all behind you Manu Samoa!Cheehooooo. GB
telea c. opetaia - Toomua, Lealiifano, Tomane, Skelton and their wallaby brothers backing the boys in blue!
leone vito toleafoa - Dissolve the old board, replace the chairman and run the brand like a business. Have a board who are accountable for every aspect of the team & brand. Players sign contracts and paid their worth (within reason & funding) and are expected to perform. Develop up & coming from Junior & Club level to aspire to play for the Manu. Change the marketing strategy, renovate Apia Park & include clauses the Manu to receive a percentage of gate takings no matter where they play etc. You'll get better sponsors, better branding - just better everything. Having a development squad means you always have the creme de la creme of players to select from.
niko n cimu poulivaati - The world is behind you Samoa, and i mean the Samoan team not the SRU
- QUESTION: If you got to pick a New Zealander to be on our bank notes who would it be and why?

Niu FM - The Beat of the Pacific!: QUESTION: If you got to pick a New Zealander to be on our bank notes who would it be and why? Currently we have nz greats such as Kate Shepard, Sir Edmund Hillary, Sir Apirana Ngata. Would you change it or keep it the same? FROM STUFF: On Thursday afternoon the new banknote designs will be unveiled during a media lock up at the Reserve Bank before being added to circulation late next year. While the designs will be updated, the themes of the notes will remain the same, with the same New Zealanders, flora and fauna remaining. Drop your suggestions here...... #jandals #shaunjohnson #richiemccawComments:
polina d makasini davies - Why is the islanders bank note just pasted? Lol gosh!
rosina holden - Why spend $80 mil on something we already have, why not leave it as it is? put that money into kids in need, education and health. Put John key on toilet paper - Nah wouldn't want to see him every day.
sacha maree - Willie Apiata. NZ's first Victoria Cross recipient.
shalom yasi raits - A Maori Warrior that made a difference in this country for their people! This is Aotearoa after all..
tracey gabriel - John campbell lol coz hes a good chap!
daniel taorei - Valerie adams on a $500 note
richie sikuea - I'm surprised no one has said Richie McCaw.
Might as well make him PM
layna holo - keep it as it is
tangianau rauraa - Sir Peter Jackson for stamping NZ all over the world & All Blacks & Warriors logo for bringing NZ to the forefront of what it means to be a kiwi.(that's just my opinion ).
stephan williamson - Just another complete money waster. Wonder when the last time the American dollar changed face, or the British pound. (Just saying as I don't actually know but feel almost sure to say they wouldn't be so frivolous )
len fatupaito - None of the above. Preferably individuals who have worked and toiled for betterment of other people's welfare. People who have given their time and charity to make someone else's life better.
dee conrad - Paul Henry hahaha..
jere miah - Hone Heke , Nga-Puhi tribe Moari chief & warrior because he taught about peace ,prosperity and unity and all things to survive through warfare .
jimmy gambino - keep the same people but maybe each note could have a city theme e.g $5 note will still have sir Edmund Hillary and be the 'Auckland themed' note, $20 note be 'rotorua themed' and so on.
daniel crichton - Richie McCaw And Peter Blake. Both have Lead New Zealand to success in the sports arena and created history.
peseta eunice sio - Sonny Bill Williams on $5 because of his loyalty and allegiance
miki leat - Definitely MARK Hunt👌👌
ian gordon - Richie McCaw, Billy T,
damien mcnabb - Rubin wiki or Sir Peter Charles Leitch or graham lowe
mez temaru - Helen Clark Valerie Adams Richie McCaw Willie Apiata
jo wehi - I would just make $5 notes purple so for a second i would trick myself into thinking I had more money 😊

Niu FM - The Beat of the Pacific!: Thursday Night Talk - Tala Mai, quite a situation tonight, can you help? If you wish to have an issue raised for our Tala Mai nights, email in confidence to email@example.com Dear NIU FM, Back in High School over 20 years ago, I feel in love with a beautiful Island girl from a strict background. We dated secretly for nearly a whole year in which she shared her culture and how important it was that she remain a virgin until marriage. I loved her as much as any teenager can & respected her culture so I was happy just to have her. Unfortunately her family found out about us and forbid her to see me anymore. We were left brokenhearted and she was sent away to the Islands for the remainder of our school years. I can honestly say I never got over her. My life here didn't go too good. I ended up getting into trouble a lot, and ended up serving time in prison for things I'm not proud of, but have left behind me and started a new life. I am married, have 2 awesome kids and my own business now, but still feel empty inside and now I know why. By chance I met up with my first love again, I couldn't believe it was her, she looked even more beautiful today then ever before. She's married also now, with children of her own, but I could tell there was something still there for both of us. All of this time had gone by and I felt it all come back. We've been emailing each other and I have confessed that I've never gotten over her and her the same for me. The thing is, of course is our families. We don't want to hurt them but in so we are hurting ourselves. Do we have a right to finally be happy and be together at the sake of hurting others? Has anyone been here before? It's driving me insane on what to do. Advice please.Comments:
fetu ierome - marriage is til death do u part, or until one is unfaithful, its a sad situation to be in, but dnt be selfish now, your wife, and the ladies husbands' feelings & lives are also at stake here. you'r just gnr hv to pray to God tht he gives you the strength to let go, thts in th past now,..
but this is also a lesson for parents. sometimes you need to STOP botzing it and let kids live a little.. ehh. feel for u though, must be tough..
shalom yasi raits - I feel for you and the subject of a long lost love...BUT ...Wont you be ripping your wife's one true love from her,and perhaps that lady's husbands one true love from him??!I mean isnt that what was done to you two teenagers back in the day when you loved eachother??!! ...Sure! entertain the idea of being with this woman again,if you are single! If you do not love your wife at all! And if you walked down the isle, knowing that whole time you were wishing to marry your lost love from time past..and not your now wife!Entertain that idea,if youre willing to see your wife as a single mother, have your kids on the weekend, sign divorce papers, eventually see your now-wife move on with another man!If you are willing to see your kids learn to call someone else Dad one day aswell..if you can swallow the idea of your now-wife being intimate with someone else! Because this is what you are 'questioning' signing up for right now!For a girl from years past, for that story that was never allowed to happen, for the 'unknown'..
poamo stylzali tuialii - The words of a great contemporary poet comes to mind...'my minds telling me noooo...but my body,my bodiesss telling me yesss'...poor bugger, good luck with that..lol
benz karonaz - Honour your Wife, as you were married under the covenant of God to be bind by which you state your vows on your wedding day, regardless if you are a believer or not, marriage is a sacred duty to which you are to uphold, and that is honour, respect and most importantly show loyalty to her, like wise with your ex, who was from the past and stays in the past.... Also your children will be affected, now think of your children you have, honour them by honouring there Mother..... Understand there are too many broken homes built on broken values, do not add to that sad statistic brother!!!!!
vitale tufuga - U know wat uce u need a gud hiding.and ur ex too...no good.
ieremia salelea - Hope Everyone's having a good night!!! Lol
silia kamila tafea - if this was my partner and he told me this i would be devasted!!! heartbroken!!! Hurt and angry. i would knock him the F out and then tell him to F OFF!!! LOL!!!! i would not want him to stay with me out of pity or because of the kids. As hard as it would be if hes not happy with what he has then its his loss go and do or be with whatever makes him happy. Even though id probably die inside. I would not take him back if things didnt work out for him.
patrick patty kutz tanoi - Eventually you will both end up together because the universe has brought you to back to each other so just let nature take its course & ride it out all the best what a beautiful story tho now that's love that was meant to be & what will be will be all the best from bondi AUS
aniese finepolo - Tony Vai sounds like us oi haha
hariata ngatai - I know an Uncle who went through this exact same thing and they ended up together. They are the happiest couple EVER! I also had another uncle (now deceased) who split up with my Aunty and ended up with his first love and they too were the most beautiful couple, soul mates even. I think you should go for it. I believe there is such a thing as true love :)
island-lexus walters - An it ain't the universe tht has bought uz bck 2 gther it's devolo tempting u live by god an honor ur wife
toli andrea aoina - Dont be selfish. Period. Look at your kids, then ask whether you have a right to ruin their happiness or your wifes' for that matter, over that of the past. Ive heard people say that evidently, in the end, it isnt worth it.
Why break up a damn good, happy and loving home?
Just my personal comment to this.
lila peafua - Dude its because you never "hit that" thats why those feelings came back...lol
phoenix hepi - I'd rather chase the chance of potential happiness then to sit, wonder, fret and let that feeling inside fester. Better to know than to always wonder, but sit with your mrs and let her know. We're all adults so start acting like one and make a decision lol
yanda tuiloa - That was 20 years ago, times have changed and people dont stick to there marriage vows any more, its a bih chance youre taking, with many many years gone by and you would of both changed, what will happen if you got together just to find out that you had both changed, what will happen then? get over the regretting buzz as well as the blaming of the parents, youre mature adults wondering what if, if youre ready to hurt alot of people then go for it, but my advice is stick to your families who have been there thru thick and thin with you. are you both truly willing to wreck everything thats taken years to build!! you can always get a woman but family is forever
monise fata-meafou - Be happy where you are at, appreciate the time you had with her as a season that allowed you both to grow from, sometimes its better to have the memories, people change as they grow older. Priorities change. All the best to you both.
eko mareko - Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a Mystery but Today is a gift...that is why its called the Present.
paea kailea - Selfish people... Get ova it and move on!
ana latoa - The heart usually wants what it can't have eg. Be wanting Roman reigns but it will never happen? Ya feel? Lol na but on a serious note think about your kids. Its always about the kids would you want them growing up calling someone else dad? Yeah you reunited with an OLD flame but that chicks in the past be a man and don't keep in contact with her if its going to lead to a broken marriage with your family you have right now. But best of luck on the decision you make :)
suzanne batta - Leave it in the past.. It will never work.. :(
christopher monroe faaitiiti - Wtf?! Boy you need to get real! Your married with kids ... can't go back on something in the past and wishing you could reunite. That's just stupid! You had your chance to fight for her and now you got a wife and kids to live for. Don't be selfish! She's from the past and that's where she belongs. You took a vow before God, now be a man and stand by them! I feel for your wife and your ex's husband. They don't deserve this. In my opinion, you both have already deceived your spouses by making contact with each other. Disgusting!
