Get my mum the best medical care for her cancer. Get the operation I need done privately. Give up work but do charity work instead to help others. Give some to the British Epilepsy association, Macmillan trust and also Demelza house. Then wisely invest the rest and live off the interest. I would also not shout about it as then you just get sob stories from people that are not true, people suddenly become your best friends and use you etc. I would be happy with £1 or £2 million and have a nice comfortable life with that much. I wouldn't throw parties or buy cars (i can't drive because of my epilepsy) or waste the money on expensive holidays, designer this that and the other either.
