[Amber Lynn Hollingshead] - I miss the old Food Network,I thought this network was about food and not about stupid Reality Shows and competitions, you lost a loyal fan and viewer.
[Alvilda Jesse] - Why is there so much Diners,Drive-Ins and Dives shows over and over and over again?? Get new shows and not food contests all the time!! The Food channel is better!!
[Dianne T. Stamatelos] - Cooking is supposed to be fun, enjoyable, "do it right", not stressful and hateful. This show is just awful. I love ya Alton, but you can do better than this. Yuck.
[Amy Carr] - This is an awful show. Would love to see Alton back in the kitchen. Be nice to see some great food being made with easier to find & cheaper ingredients for the average American to be able to make. Or maybe a show that shows us good substitutes for ingredients many of us don't access to. That would be a great show for Alton to do. This show is so beneath you!
[Louise Lewis] - I don't want to be around food that is prepared in a "Cutthroat Kitchen," or food that hasn't been prepared in a peaceful, loving and clean kitchen. I Like Alton, but the name of the show just turns me off!
[Karen Utofka] - I've lost all faith in FN.
[Brian Burch] - Kind of a Dumb Show... Least favorite of all that I watch,, Sorry Alton, I am a fan..
[Karen Utofka] - Dumbest damn show EVER..........Oh, wait! The newest show with the kids could go neck to neck with this one. Sheesh!!!
[Billy Joe Epperson] - Yup, I watch every food network show offered, but this one is a loser. Too many twist, not entertaining. The Food Truck show is also having issues having too many twist. If I want drama I'll one of my wives silly cop shows (which they have in spades) Be original, not gimmicky.
[Rita Neumann] - I don't think any judge in the land will hold Alton Brown accountable should he refuse to follow through on his contract after seeing this show. Alton save your reputation and QUIT!
[Beverly Flynn] - I watched Cutthroat Kitchen 3 times now & I won't watch it again. Has little to do with food & cooking skills and everything to do with people behaving badly. Alton should run away from this show!
[Barbara Balas] - I love the food network, I create my own dishes based on you over the weekend, I hate cutthroat kitchen you set them all up for failure sorry I don't like it.
[Rachael Cunningham] - Take this dumb show OFF!
[Valerie Henke] - Didn't watch...sorry Alton, show kinda sucks....ummm, really sucks. Just saying but I love you. :-)
[James Pagnanella] - This show stinks.. Lets Get Alton back in the Kitchen
[Betsy Rinehart Anderson] - Alton...I follow many of your recipes and think a lot of you but this show is so StUpId. You are sending some amazing good cooks packing and this eve's show...that nasty guy..evil...and won. Really???? Have a contest with Grandmothers and their fav recipes...we are well seasonsed in so many ways and it would be wonderful show.
[Gabe F. Dominguez] - This show blows! Stick to the fundamentals. Before long this will be another MTV showing stupid pregnant teens instead of music!
[Kathryn Robertson Campbell] - No thanks. Hoping you find the real Alton soon. I hope this doesn't anger you too much, but I really miss the real Alton that was on so long.
[JoAnn Rieck] - I don't like this show!
[Nancy Powers] - Horrible Show!!
[Heidi Morrison] - Just not entertaining. Alton seems like such a nice guy and this show just puts him in a horrible position. Just don't like the show and have watched it 3 times.
[The Blue Collar Gourmet] - Food network jumped the shark with this one. Alton has become insufferable to watch. Not happy with a lot of night time offerings.
[Christine Beauford] - I would have to agree with amber lynn Hollingshead, I do miss the old Food network, I miss the Dinner impossible. All these changes on the food network that I stopped watching and changed it to the cooking channel. its much better than Food Network
[Claudia Cappelletti] - I have to agree, did not like the show one bit! Nothing to do with who cooks better just who's more of a snake!
[Penny Vickas] - I agree with everyone - I think you can make better use of Alton's talent. Can't we just go back to Good Eats ??
[Christine Clarke Thompson] - Worst show ever!!!!
[Elizabeth Lewis] - What happened to cooking shows?
[Anthony Burelle] - won't waste my time, stupid show!
[Sharon Boatswain] - I think FN forgot that the shows should be about the "Food" not let's see if you can make something edible out of this bag of garbage. Ps you can't taste it. Really??? No one who appreciates good food cooks like this.
[Kate Robison] - No thanks! Food Network has gone mainstream and not in a good way!
[Carol Barney Stinson] - Food Network...you can do better.
[Sherry Ballard] - I wish they would have more shows where they are teaching you to be a better cook and giving you great recipes
[Willard Baun] - Is anyone at FN reading these comments? WE DON'T LIKE THIS SHOW!!
[Donna Tobin Hungerford] - The guy who won tonight is a jerk!
[Rebecca Encinias] - Alton...yawn.....
[Jo Wells] - Don't like Alton wish they would find a different host
[Karen Utofka] - Could not have said it better Michelle Chouinard Boyce.
[Sandi Clayton Burgess] - I don't like Cutthroat Kitchen at all -
[Julie Edmunds] - In my kitchen I want to cook good food period. The only sabotage I could relate to might be an important phone call, a family member or pet in need etc. This is just a game show to regular people like (not professional).
[Jayne Di Roma] - I agree with the thumbs down on reality shows on the food network. I watch it for cooking ideas not on how to stab someone in the back. Leave that stuff for the housewives of "somewhere"!!
[Sandra Gail] - There is nothing Alton can teach me about cooking, nothing!!
[Sandra Gail] - Chef McNutt why would you serve raw tuna on a toasted bun?????
[Linda Brandon] - I love cutthroat kitchen!!
[Michael Guida] - Don't like this show one iota. This and Nadia G are rock bottom.
[Mandi Carr Fraley] - I prefer Alton as a host. Good Eats was awful
[Frances Elaine Lambert-Carter] - Besides these Reality shows are all rigged anyways..On The Next Food Net Work Star..The one who won NO WAY she should have!!!!!
[Ed Durham] - cannot stand Alton Brown !!!!
[Marcee Henrie] - soon as NFL is over.
[Seth Johnston] - At first, I thought this show was going to be so stupid , but I have really enjoyed it.
[Mandi Carr Fraley] - Enjoying the show even though I'm still upset with the network for their bad decision
Food Network: SPOILER ALERT: Tonight's Cutthroat Kitchen judge finds out what really went down in the kitchen - 50th Comments
[Ty Duncan] - This show sucks... where's Paula Deen
[Michelle Chouinard Boyce] - Just the name of it is disgusting. Cutthroat Kitchen...sounds like a slasher movie. ugh.
[Annette Gamble] - I agree what happened to the cake competitions & sugar art. I hate all these stupid shows about policing resteraunts & grilling out oif cars & the chefs on cutthroat kitchen are to big for their chef hats yuck!!!
[Jennifer Lavallee] - Watching the episode from Sunday and the girl says she didn't use Canadian Bacon. I'm Canadian and what you Americans call Canadian Bacon is actually called HAM, it isn't even Bacon!!! Perhaps you should call it by the correct name!!! It's HAM not BACON!!!!

Beauty Benefits of Soy
Many skin cleansers and lotions contain soy for its moisturizing properties. Soy contains vitamin E, which is useful when applied topically as a moisturizer. The website FashioniHub.com notes that consuming the phytoestrogens in soy may help the body produce more estrogen, which can minimize wrinkles and fine lines.
Consuming soy may help make your nails stronger and less brittle. The website DailyGlow.com says that consuming soy, in the form of tofu and soy milk, can strengthen your nails and make them less prone to breaking.
Smoother and Fuller Hair
Soy may have benefits in treating hair loss, particularly for men. According to a 2004 study led by Trent D. Lund at the University of Colorado, soy is an anti-androgen, meaning that it can neutralize the effects of excess male hormones. Excess male hormones can lead to hair loss and abnormal hair growth. Soy may also help smooth the appearance of hair, and it is used in many shampoos and conditioners.
Soy may have benefits in bio-lipid based wrinkle prevention, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Chemists Dave Compton and Joe Laszlo, from the agency's Agricultural Research Service, discovered bio-lipids in soy, referred to as ferulic soy glycerides, which could prevent wrinkles and have future uses as an ingredient in anti-aging products, shampoos and cleansers.
Soy contains natural antioxidants, which may have antiaging effects. Paula Begoun, also known as the "Cosmetics Cop," reports that the plant-based phytochemicals in soy can fight free radicals, which contribute to the aging process. Soy also stimulates collagen production and may improve skin's elasticity.
Equol Inhibits Prostate Growth and Hormone
Equol (7-hydroxy-3[49 hydroxyphenyl]-chroman) is the major metabolite of the phytoestrogen daidzein, one of the main iso- flavones found abundantly in soybeans and soy foods. Equol may be an important biologically active molecule based on recent studies demonstrating that equol can modulate reproductive function. In studies, it is examined the effects of equol on prostate growth and LH secretion and determined some of the mechanisms by which it might act. Administration of equol to intact male rats for 4-7 days reduced ventral prostate and epididymal weight and increased circulating LH levels. Using binding assays, it is determined that equol specifically binds 5 A -dihydrotestos- terone (DHT), but not testosterone, dehydroepiandrosterone, or estrogen with high affinity. Equol does not bind the prostatic androgen receptor, and has a modest affinity for recombinant estrogen receptor (ER) b , and no affinity for ER a . In castrated male rats treated with DHT, concomitant treatment with equol blocked DHT's trophic effects on the ventral prostate gland growth and inhibitory feedback effects on plasma LH levels without changes in circulating DHT. Therefore, equol can bind circulating DHT and sequester it from the androgen receptor, thus altering growth and physiological hormone responses that are regulated by androgens. These data suggest a novel model to explain equol's biological properties. The significance of equol's ability to specifically bind and sequester DHT from the androgen receptor have important ramifications in health and disease and may indicate a broad and important usage for equol in the treatment of androgen-mediated pathologies.
[Josee Blake] - cant find the right spot but please take diners drive ins and dives off
[Frances Elaine Lambert-Carter] - The only way you can see them teaching things to cook' is to watch in the Morning to Evening. From 9:00 am to 6:00 pm eastern time.
[Stephanie Vandezandschulp] - food network also has cooking channel they have your cooking shows I really enjoy BOTH of them.
[Douglas Frazee] - It will help you think outside of the box.
[Christine K. Lofgren] - Some of my friends love Cutthroat Kitchen because they like it when arrogant people get their just desserts from other people that are just as arrogant. I do not want to watch a show that encourages people to steal from other people though.
[Bobb Kurinka] - Sorry to all the nay-sayers out there, but I do like this show. Everything does not always run smoothly in a kitchen. Love to see how some chefs handle the adversity, and there are rotten bastards out there that will take any opportunity to stab someone in the back. What I can not stand are all the blatantly FAKE shows out there - Mystery Diners, etc. The worst will be "Thieves Inc" - it does not even PRETEND to be about food!
[Trish Methvin] - L. Am watch this show right now
[Merry Wagner] - Not crazy about cutthroat.. However, I LOVED the first episode the new Kids Cook Off.. It was just too cute! I DO HOPE they keep this real, and simply what it is...
[Mary Ann Haiman] - Is how it should be.
[Sherrie Brettelle Jacques] - We Love this show!
[La'Toya Powell-Golden] - I like the show!
[Linda Fast Cooper] - I have enjoyed the show....
[Barbara Pennington Collins] - sorry Alton...Food Network, please bring back some good shows.....
[Patricia Rentz Haynes] - Tired of these type shows on your channel. No more, please.....
[Chef Chris Nicholson] - Cutthroat Kitchen. There's not a kitchen I've ever been in with out a little of that going on. Hiding in the shadows, ready to strike. I've gotten use to them all, and can see them coming from a mile away. :) Chef Chris Nicholson
